I’ve finished the black dragon and the drakespawn chariot (will share photos in a near future). This month I will paint some executioners, shadow warriors and darkspears in any combination (and complete painting the quicksilver swords)

I would be over the clouds if the sunday reveal would turn out to be a true release of Cursed City along the anouncement of one or two expansions!

In my local AoS group the model is now a glorious meme, with his smoking pipe and all. Someone made a more fitting trailer (in spanish tho) 😂 IMG_2616.MP4

I strongly hate the charge reaction rules. The game doesn’t need to give players more reasons to stand out of melee. They were supossed to nerf shooting, not close combat...

Last year I picked a finecast Varghulf and the experience was daunting. Apart from the bubbles, it had a huge chunk of resin in the back that destroyed all the detail. If you don’t mind paying a bit more i would advise picking a second hand metal one. Or even a chinese ripoff, which probably has more quality for less price (not that I picked one of such models of course, I wouldn’t think of doing such a thing, ever)

I actually prefer this mini, at least they did well with the anatomy

Ok, I have re read the article and just realized that maybe is a bit open to interpretation. Turns out that what I wrote above is more what I personally understood than what is transmiting word by word 😅

They say in the article that nothing will be released for a few weeks to avoid problems with shipment, stockage, etc. And to spice up things a bit, they share spoilers of things that will come in the future. They are not announcing the following weeks releases as usual.

I think that the ogor hero is a reference to the oldest ogres of fantasy, before the introduction of the mongolian aesthetic and the gutplates, so probably him having no gutplate is a deliberate choice.

I’m glad he is not an ogor, as the proportions didn’t feel right (the head and the hands would have been too small in proportion to the rest of the body in that case)

At first I was not convinced at all about Radukan, but the more I get used to it the more I like it. Now I have curiosity about the warscrolls and almost tempted to begin an Ulfenkarn themed army when Gravelords come out!

In my opinion it would greatly improve if you painted the column and the base with a color that stands out from the rest of the miniature (using warm colours, to break the monotony of so many cold ones). Or at least something bright, like white.

I’m back to painting a lot of projects simultaneously, so I’m not sure if I even finish a single miniature this month... I’m progressing at the same time with: -Mangler squig -6 executioners -5 shadow warriors -Sorceress -Cold one chariot -2 dracoths (And got skraggrot, snufflers and loonboss with squig all half painted in the shelve lol) Loads of work indeed Also here is my conversion for the dreadlord (the spear on the photo has been changed by a lance, as it was imposible to keep the metal glued together!). It still looks awesome.

In my local aos wassap group the reception of the Roos is being mostly positive, while almost everyone agrees that the vampire is somewhat bland (but there is still people hyped). I think that id the beauty of this hobby, I love when our different tastes are highlighted
