  1. @TheHarrower I think you might have to wait a few weeks for the new edition to pop-up, many units will have changes in their points.

They mentioned in one of the Warhammer Community articles about content for Skirmish being included in one of the upcoming 2.0 books, i think the one with the new spells.

I wonder if they will include in there all the updated point costs for Skirmish as well, with many factions getting point discounts for their units in the new edition.

  2. Nice, i took a quick look through the Chaos lists. You forgot to add the Mighty Lord of Khorne (with the Flesh Hound) who is available in the list of the official Skirmish Book. Also, the Lord of Plagues currently has the same cost as the Lord of Blights in the Maggotkin battletome so he should be at 28 points in skirmish instead of 20.

If i notice anything else i will let you know.

    Cheers!

  3. I don't mind if they make current OOP compendium models illegal in tournaments and can understand the reasons behind that. But as mentioned in other posts i need points to have a semblance of balance in the casual games that i am going to use those miniatures. It is good in theory that you can use the models in open play but how often can you pick up a game with someone at your local store and have them agree to a game without point costs?

I can play a casual friendly game with someone using my GH 2016 compendium Gorthor the Beastlord with my Brayherd, since he has points in that book and we can balance out our armies but if someone wants to use Malekith from the new Dark Legends pdf that has a new warscroll without points they would have a hard time finding anyone willing to play against them.

GW can give point costs for the Legends range with a disclaimer "This points are to help you balance your forces in casual games and are not allowed in official events/tournaments" and there would be far fewer worried and displeased people since they can still have some pick up games at their FLGS and use their old toys from time to time.

Points are not meant only for tournament and competitive games but provide a guidance for both players to play their armies with a set structure, be it at their FLGS or at their kitchen table on a rainy afternoon.

This is super cool... When can we expect an updated version. 1st post said it was updated in june 2017?

And thanks for the awesome file!

The author's last visit to this site is on August 22, 2017 so sadly, i don't think there are going to be any updates by the original poster in this thread.

He did a fantastic work on the document for sure though!

  5. As much as i would agree with this, less than 30% of the 308 pages in this thread actually consist of rumors.

It is mostly lore discussion, thoughts on new stuff and wishful thinking for dream products with an actual rumor every few pages.

When something new shows up, people usually like to express their thoughts the moment they see it even if that is not a dedicated thread.^_^

    Cheers!

May i ask what the last 2 pages have to do with rumours ?????

If your posts include "I think" or "They should" or "This existing Warscroll needs that" don't even bother posting.

This is what the general discussion or faction specific sections are for.

Thank you very much Ladies and Gentleman

  6. At a first look, i think Garrek's Reavers warscroll looks underwhelming. For 10 more points i would rather have an additional horde of 10 bloodreavers to bolster an existing unit, than have a unit of 5 models with 1 wound each and a 6+ save.

Steelheart's Champions looks cool though,  certainly an improvement over a 5 model unit of liberators.

  7. Anyone noticed that in the "Warhammer Live Lists for April 26th" article at the Warhammer Community, there are units that take into account point cost per model?

    https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/04/26/warhammer-live-lists-for-april-26th/

The Chaos army list for example has

    12x Chaos Warriors – 216

    14x Kairic Acolytes – 194

I do not know if this is a trend in these events as i usually do not keep up with them, just noticed this and thought it might be worth mentioning.
