I thought it was a completely different character, especially with the oriental music, it doesn't sound like an existing character at all to me. I'm really loving the oriental theme going on now, with the cypher lords and obviously ogors were usually mongol themed, imagine if this guy is like a nippon/cathay emperor, be still my beating heart. Edit: Actually I reckon it's an Ogor, but then that would be interesting as Sigmar tried to steal an Ogor's soul? (The soul thief's prison) or is he referencing Nagash? I wonder what an Ogor Stormcast would look like! Imagine that beast!

Ah thank you! Knew I wasn't going crazy haha, well I sure hope it's soon. I wonder if we'll see the other warbands at the open day. Not expecting it but damn that would be sweet.

Is there any mention yet of these bands being useable in matched play? I could've sworn GW said in the past that the warbands would get points values for the main game. Guess I imagined it haha. But oh wow I did not expect more warbands let alone teases for them already, I've been longing for proper old-school style warriors of chaos and then here are the tyrants 😍 a dream come true.

I am so bloody happy right now. I have been trying to plan some Samurai Space Marine/Stormcast for ages now, trying to look EVERYWHERE for weapon bits, and then GW release these dudes who have Naginata looking spears. I am so happy, so so happy. Bring on Warcry there's not one Warband I don't like. Did not expect an Eastern themed band, these guys are bad.ass

I can't express how excited I am for this release, especially since finding out these will be multipart kits. Holy moly! Did they state that the non Chaos factions would get new models? I was looking at the artwork and you can see another warband fighting the iron golems. Looking at their aesthetic, they remind me an awfully lot like the new Hedonite Prince, such as the circlets, perhaps these will be the mortal followers of Slaanesh and we'll see them tie in with the Hedonite releases. I really hope Slaanesh will get mortal dudes. I'm in love with the Xerxes...I mean Daemon Prince model 😍😍

Just saw on reddit, the Skaven book is too? So hyped this would be a pleasant surprise. Perhaps next couple weeks I reckon.

Been lurking on this site for a while and this podcast finally made me make an account. Back from a long break and so far I'm steamrolling through my backlog. I've never had such a laugh with this hobby, thank you guys for the comedy and helping me keep the motivation to continue painting. Can't wait for the next episode. Been in absolute stitches with the English accents.
