I was thinking also some sort of new Dark Elf mini, but I think it is very unlikely that we see something for CoS from them or so early RE from Malerion.

It is the Blood Angel Sanguinor Sword

Could be, who knows. If anyone wants to search runes as well: there aren't clans with similar simbols, not even on the great Clans.

Could also be a new Great Horned Rat rune since verminlords also carry a lot of unused runes.

It could be Blight City rune and the unified clan. I remember an old rumour that Skaven are gonna be redesigned to be more unified.

The problem with Ogors is that they basically removed the most defining feature of the Ogre Kingdoms from Warhammer Fantasy that gave them a unique niche in the universe: their neutrality. Sure they still have mercenaries, but that part is far less emphasized and 80% of the stories with Ogor Mercenaries end with them betraying and eating their employers making you wonder why anybody hires them in the first place. Ogre Kingdoms were pretty much the only guys who had a "good" relationship with every other faction and were equally likely to work with the Empire as much as Orcs and Goblins, but that didn't really fit into the Grand Alliance scheme.

    There are three factions now.
    - Mercenaries that even can stablish in Free Cities
    - Nomadic force of nature of Gutbusters or Beastclaw
    - Fanatics of the Gulping God that are terraforming the Realms

Relax with the predictions for AoS, remember that 40k has 11th on 2026 and still have some bigger things coming this ed (Emperor's Children, votann's second wave, blood angels, agents, plastic kriegs, new army...) and I doubt GW has planned more than one or two big AoS ranges for each year while 4th lasts.

I put only one big release and two medium for each year. (Chaos Dwarf, Sons of Morghur and Silents Ones).

I'm doubtful on morghur + silent people. I expect we'll see hashut and malerion's armies for sure in the second and 3rd years of the edition respectively. Sizeable release waves for Idoneth, Kharadron, Fyreslayers, OBR, DoK and maybe CoS are pretty likely imo. It's possible we see the return of gitmob for GSG and also kurnothi for sylvaneth too. I don't think any faction will get a massive refresh like ogors (assuming BoC are actually going away)

DoK and Malerion are the same book.

I only put the medium-big releases. I expect small ones for Idoneth, Tzeentch, Waaagh or CoS.

I wouldn't thought that Skaven were so popular, but if they are, I just hope GW can meet the expectations considering all their production issues.

Skaven was one of the top sellers during Fantasy era and they are still selling really well as Seraphon was selling even with that old bunch of kits

It is, but, after 9th and 10th, does it look like one tho?

Granted, I may just be coping. But I keep thinking GW will want to go bonkers on this one.

They thought that Dominion box was bonkers too

Because GW had ridiculous high expectations for Leviathan and not only did it overcame them, but also reached new levels in a matter of hours.

Because GW will most likely not expect Vermintide to sell like Dominion (however it did) but will want it to reach a mere fraction of that success. And same did 30k on 2022. If GW's is managed by business people, they must have learned one lesson from all of this: if you want a starter box to sell bonkers, you must go bonkers.

And you don't do that by doing a simple and humble box...

Dominion was a 200€ box too

I dont think we should use AoS boxes for reference on this one, but 40k and 30k. GW seems to want to big on this one.

Also, again: we know that, acording to Whitefang, there are both a grey seer and a clawlord on this box. This is goign to get BIG. Alltho, I reckon it didnt occur to me that the clawlord could be riding a rat ogre, which would be an alternative for the avatar-thing.

This is going to be a 200 euros box, guys, clashy, gold, that goes to-to-toe with Leviathan patterns. Mark my words.

Why is big this one? How do you know it is different to Dominion?

I still dont think the new piece of artillery is that big for what weve seen. Not as big as a SK anyway.

Btw, I agree on the Matter of globadiers: It is true they could have their hands and heads changed to have a multidual kit. Its not that weird nowadays, since kits like all the kill teams are multidual.

But theres a reason why I stated they arent as multidual: the heads. GW hates giving múltiple heads to Seb Perbet designs. Have they done It? Yes, the artilleries and stormvermins have múltiple heads. Is it a common características of the skaven range? Well, seems like Pervet's designs of rats crouching makes it harder or whatsoever to make múltiple heads on a skaven kit, and GW prefers to have the bodies and heads on the same Piece as much as possible for skavens. Proof to support this? The new leaked sprue.

But I guess theres a fair chance that Im wrong and multidual globadiers are on the way. Alltho, the weapons would have to not overlap either weapon teams nor jezzails

But AoS Starter boxes usually have more models and smaller than 40k Starter boxes. I mean, it is more reliable we are gonna get 1 Clawlord mounted, 1 armoured Warlock, 20 clanrats, 10 vermins, 3 rat ogors and 3 jezzails

We dont know how much big is the avatar-thing. I presume there'll be a behemoth Moulder Monster on the regular release, while this thing goes to the starter box. My reasoning? Would be weird to have a demon bigger than Verminlords, and the evil factions on starter boxes love using mid-to-big monsters like the screamer killer. While its very easy to lean on the Frankenstein rats doing big bazinga godzillas.

Alltho, granted, that works both ways.

Screamer killer is not that big. The new piece of artillery or a mount is more reliable as part of the starter box.

I'll add that the kruleboyz monsta killaz albeit the beastnob were far more in line with bonesplitterz aesthetic than most of the current krules range.

Aesthetic was there but warband composition is off imo as far as a win. Just felt lackluster to me.

@Nezzhil I hope you're right about the hobgrot warband and not just tickling my fancy... 😶

    Underworlds is outside my knowledge

What, like shapeshifting/druid Ossiarchs, bone werewolves, or permashifted?

So far Warcry has generally proposed warbands very different from their base faction (with a few exceptions like Darkoath and Kruleboyz). "Normal" Sylvaneth can already be modelled as Kurnothi, and indeed the recent Kurnoth battleforce was like that. Keeping the same formula for Warcry would be pretty boring (imo)

    Instabuy

The Ossiarch horses are punished Ossiarch that failed in past, so the dogs are the same.
