Yeah, StD got a lot of fat basically. Plenty of pretty useless units that serve little purpose, kinda like SCE. I figure the Warcry will really just stay as extra units to collect but Darkoath are probably going to be more like the marauders of old; a viable second branch. I hope that‘s it now for StD though; other armies need stuff more. I like what they‘re getting though! While I‘ll always be a fan of heavy armor in StD, these new models look really good.

I'm old school, I'd like Cities to actually be privileged for a bit! 😂 The basic human is always the perfect contrast to all the other factions. Not that I don't like SCE but regular dudes simply portray the dangers of all the evil factions better than fantasy space marines, who are extremely strong individuals. A story about nids is more fun if the imperium is involved than fearless Space Marines to draw a parallel.

The greatest trick of Tzeentch would be to make the current Changeling usable 🤭

I got Rebirth a bit early and did the bare minimum for work... 16 hours in. 😂 Yoshi since T3 here. Lili is quite the annoying matchup now, although to be fair, Yoshi must be even more annoying to play against. Despite Yoshi not being trash tier for the first time since T6 (he started sucking as soon as he went double sword), I really only now with all the extra mechanics realize that he's got quite a few missing pieces in his overall move list, despite 190 moves. And they've nerfed flash already. Which was pretty important as Yoshis have a hard time with dealing against constant aggression. You learn to hate Hwoarangs, Dragunovs and the like quite fast in this one as we got very few pokes and safe moves and spammers are horrible to deal with. I certainly play very different against some characters. Either way, T8 is a good one. Unfortunately I won't play it much until I've completed Rebirth. I want my date with Tifa! 🥰

I mean, the setting was great but could also also be easily replicated in AoS if they wanted to. I figure they won‘t focus too much on side games set in TOW outside of the main game. I‘d be happy with either solution personally as long as the style is as gloomy as Mordheim‘s.

I wouldn‘t use the narrative as a clear indicator who‘s the mightiest, just saying. Different authors use different constellations to hype various figures. There are different kinds of strength too so even between the same two heroes/villains the outcome could go either way, factor in the circumstances and it‘s a coin toss. I guess Kragnos is somewhere in the god-beast tier, I‘d argue gods outrank god-beasts but depending on circumstances god-beasts could slay gods. I guess the strongest gods would be very likely winners however but the same could probably be said about strong god-beasts. Either way, it‘s difficult to say anything concise. They‘re all strong but Kragnos has the ugliest face. 😋
