  1. Don‘t try it, Adam. When you go all “NoonoOOOooOOooo“ then it‘s your own damn fault!
  2. Damnit, I just summoned our weirdest Lord of Change, Se‘An Con‘Nery with this…
  3. The „classic“ knights were a downgrade already to the mixed metal/plastic iteration before them. Consider yourself challenged! *unsheathes not one but TWO red GW inch measurement sticks* Pray to your false gods or just tell them then what you wanna whine about in person after I‘m done with you!
  4. So they will have ridiculously tall helmets with elven heads on them in turn?
  5. Yes, cause cats are known for their love of water! 😋
  6. Mandrakes vs Night Lords is kind of an odd match-up. Especially because Mandrakes would be probably scarier than Night lords, thus stealing their shtick. Mandrakes are a really cool design, they could probably work in AoS too.
  7. Finally Kragnos isn‘t the ugliest creatire in all the realms! 👏 It could be from Chamon as it‘s got metallic spots. 🤔
  8. One kinda interesting thing I can add is that in BG3, only around 3% of players played dwarves IIRC. Elves were first before humans and half-elves, those three made up the majority of player races. Doesn‘t have to mean much but perhaps dwarves aren‘t as popular as one might think. We got no dwarf player either in our group although half of them love dwarves. Were Votanns a success? I figure that races that weren‘t playable for a long time do have a big bonus with people… at least if they keep true to their online word. edit: that sounds waaay more negative than I wanted - I‘m quite optimistic regard CD… if they manage to make the minis compelling that is. If they pull another FS, then nope.
  9. That sounds like a terribly easy win for the Drukhari‘s legal team.
  10. All I wanna see are at least some of them wearing huge hats. I don't even find them silly. Oh and one of them should have a face like Wario. This particular sorcerer of very little reknown, Norbert the Super-Cruel (we told him Norbert doesn't really work and super? really?) even tried to establish this fashion trend amongst Tzeentchians but unfortunately it didn't stick! It's one of my favorite designs tho! ❤️
  11. The next kit for Chaos spawns will definitely cost me dearly. I'd love to field a ton of them... right now both the rules and models prevent it. One can build a couple of quite decent ones with the current kit but we all know that a new kit would blow them out of the water.
  12. Perhaps with forge-themes generally being linked to Dwarves for so long, it wouldn't feel weird at all for them to have some common ground with Fyreslayers. It would probably feel less dwarven if they weren't crafty! And thanks for throwing in your thoughts regarding the gods, I think you've voiced my thoughts better than I did!
  13. Obviously I don't know but I think there's a very high probability that you will be happy. GW has in recent years often used the classic/iconic designs as the basis of new iterations. I would imagine new CDs to be closer to the original stuff in design/spirit than the Forgeworld ones.
  14. According to Liber Chaotica (very old by now), the Chaos gods are very much the same in both systems, so yeah. It's mostly about emotion though. So basically as long as humans and other thinking races are there, the CGs will exist, even if they don't get worshipped per se.
  15. Wow, thanks for taking the time and uploading a pic! ❤️ I'll be sure to post the Tzeentchian minis once I got them! But this dude made me pull the trigger, looks like a decent fatemaster and got quite inspired by the lovely Adrian Smith artwork of Tzeentch warriors. I figure GW's offering will be even better but who knows how long it'll take. Frankly, I've never owned a 3d print and since I want to print my own parts it's also about knowing what I can expect/what's possible.
  16. I think Malerion will come during 4th ed. It‘s been too long a wait fot sure. Every Skaven, CD, Malerion, Ogors and BoC fan has my sympathy. I‘m sending thoughts and prayers like politicians do, that seems to be really helpful!
  17. Hmmm… not saying they aren‘t gods just that they don‘t feel like being on the same tier as some other gods. I just feel like having a mini makes them seem less godly already as in my mind a god should wipe the floor easily with whole armies - I know rules don‘t reflect actual power and they might just be aspects etc. but I can have a strained relationship to that concept. I‘m not against there being new gods per se, it just feels so convenient to have lots of key personalities ascend etc and be in there as figures. Makes me think of them more like primarchs than gods. But you‘ve named two decent examples for sure. I think it needs to gestate in my mind some longer, perhaps I can articulate it better later on.
  18. Ok, I just bought them on etsy. Will be interesting how they hold up in real life next to GW‘s stuff. I figure a couple of parts will be cool at least. A cool fatemaster should be in there!
  19. Not a shabby start for some Tzeentch bits/minis. By Lost Kingdom Miniatures. I would‘ve preferred some more pants but I might get some…
  20. Yeah, godhood feels as if there are tiers - the only ingame char that feels like a proper god is Nagash to me as he’s worked for aeons on it… and Sigmar would be my second pick but he was kinda divine long before being catapulted into AoS. The rest mostly feels like „hey, we had this char, let‘s say s/he‘s godly now“. And none of those feels like a Chaos God or Gorkamorka. I dunno, sometimes I think they should‘ve just stuck with the old pantheon like Ulric and company.
  21. I just hope there is a larger overall motivator to Destruction one day. The narrative of the races themselves are absolutely fine but they do lack that overarching threat other „baddie“ forces have - might be down to them having few „gods“ that GW can center the narrative around. The proper deities like Gorkamorka will always stay background characters and Kragnos, no matter how strong, doesn‘t read as a god but as a legendary beast. As you know, I‘m not exactly a fan of the new ex-mortal gods but it feels strange for some factions to have them and others lacking them. I‘d prefer if we only had more intangible gods ingame and lore-wise and instead legendary heroes and creatures but currently most big names float between legendary hero and real god. I do believe in time GW will refine that narrative aspect however. AoS is evolving faster than any other large setting by GW - I bet in five years it will feel as just as defined and well thought if as 40k did. Until then, we gotta send some love to Destruction.
  22. Yeah, Kragnos will win an ugliness pageant and then go on a rampage! What an amazing character 👌🏻
  23. One would think it would matter I guess but yeah, you are right, last edition it didn‘t really matter much. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ll be honest, I don‘t care either way, as long as they release cool stuff! 😂
