  1. Yeah, I keep wishing for Sorcerer-Warriors (it would fit Tzeentch to a T - sorry, I'll give myself 2 warning points for that one), ideally in a style similar to the new Curseling or more Tzeentch-looking Chosen/Varanguard PLUS mutated warriors akin to the old Forsaken. I like the bit more eastern/far east-inspired trim (and visor for the Curseling, got extremely close to my own Tzeentch designs, which is really cool) and Egypt details but I wouldn't want them to lean too much into a Thousand Sons look as that's just Prospero's style - anyways, I'm happy with the current mish-mash of styles they got now and that they've clean/pristine armor with a certain sophistication. I love the Undivided slaves stuff but all those holes and cuts really disqualify them for a Tzeentch army to me. Personally I always think a cool starting point for Tzeentch stuff is Marvel's Mysterio but frankly they're kinda there already now. I'd love a new and better spawn kit but it's unrealistic to get that but the whole Soul Calibur Nightmare or Resident Evil Birkin kind of Forsaken warrior would be cool and (hopefully) suitably creepy and would fit the background as Tzeentch is very deliberate with mutations. Looking at the latest 40k Chaos releases, there are at least decent bits around for these ideas though, so that's awesome too as I could one just use them for a personal project.
  2. I believe I‘ve read (or heard) that the sculptors/artists themselves actually do enjoy a bit of freedom outside of planned releases; basically they‘re allowed to pitch things and if Jes and the other leads think it‘s cool they can proceed with it. I also think they can decide on which planned release they’ll work on. I‘m sure some factions got stuff way before it was „their“ time because one of the designers came up with something sexy. I do agree that AoS could use some cool releases now. It‘s not like we don‘t get cool new stuff but there are still so many factions that basically got nothing. Personally I (as always) hope I‘ll get surprised with Tzeentch elite mortals but I doubt anything apart from the Curseling is coming for T. Second biggest hope is that the new Gitz tome is decent, as my opponent whines about the current one every time, even if I use crappy lists. 😂 Oh and Berzerkers please. I‘ve got enough hate in me for a small happy kill team of berzerkers. Hope outside of that we‘ll see cool much-needed stuff for the less fortunate factions.
  3. I experience a similar situation in a way sometimes, although I don't wanna paint myself as a victim here - as an Austrian, you obviously get the whole WW2 history thrown into your face at times. I don't take offense if it's funny or fictional, although it's annoying to get linked to things you weren't part of and basically are born with a second original sin so to speak. But ultimately, people in my experience mean less offense than one suspects with this, it's mostly just clumsy wording etc. Obviously WW2 Germany/Austria makes for great bad guys, we can't shake that. Definitely not the right place to discuss these things but I'm always a fan of not suspecting sinister motives or the worst and letting people get inspiration from such things - even from bad things. Then at least something good can come from them.
  4. I'd love it, always loved his evil laugh but someone would cry foul on grounds of cultural approximation nowadays if they turned that piece into a mini. 😂
  5. Very poor choice of words. Considering what happened in the past, I‘m sure you gave some of the older space dwarves fans a heart attack. 😂
  6. I know it‘s extremely unlikely but since I‘m all about hope and spare change, I‘d like to see a Tzeentch Mortal Chosen equivalent finally. Guess I can keep my change this time though… 😅
  7. Don't be fooled though, it tastes just as bitter as a Brimstone Horror's mood is.
  8. In my misguided (and really inefficient, can't stress this enough) searches for wisdom and knowledge, I've come across the most evil, heinous and wrong thing I've ever seen. My soul still hurts from this sight. Stormcast Lumineth in Ultramarine colors! Pray ye forgotten castaways, for if this perversion inspires official fluff, there will only be one army in Warhammer to rule them all the release schedule. 😱
  9. I'll be honest... despite the last amending sentence this still isn't enough to satiate my jealous nature and make me a happy bird! We will have to show you the "Why Tzeentch is best" video reserved for new employees prematurely I think. If you don't understand it - don't worry, none of us do. This is the way! 😎
  10. As the worker drone in the cubicle next to yours in the change department, I welcome your latest step. 😎 Now only Neverchosen needs to see the light, he‘s still way too entangled with the lesser Chaos Gods! *angry bird noises*
  11. Thanks, I totally misunderstood the new Enlightened ability. I thought Tzaangors hit harder now but I‘m on holiday and was too lazy to look up their current warscroll. It‘s a shame that they got worse.
  12. Curseling got a decent buff, Enlightened a slight nerf (going second feels a lot less inviting than before) and Tzaangors and Acolytes don't feel much easier to field than before although Tzaangors seem a bit better overall if the costs aren't changed. Totem Banner rule is a bit clunky though and doesn't snipe heroes anymore.
  13. Well, I'd be happy already if they were decent enough to not feel like you fought with one of your arms tied behind your back. Same goes for Acolytes, although they had a decent cult to use in at least. But still, I was never impressed with either of them and hope the fix will change that. Almost the whole Tzeentch army was overpriced for glasscannons that mostly weren't that strong (with some units like Acolytes getting overcosted despite not many fielding them) because of a couple of totally broken combos involving special characters and horror spam (where everyone is right to condemn those), I think GW could've used much better nerfs to be honest. Personally I hope smaller games will now be possible with Tzeentch and this new book will fix some of our biggest problems and we won't be almost "forced" into taking broken units as the alternatives are severely lacking but can instead mix and match units and still have a decent enough army. Oh and where are Curseling rules? Dude lost a proper arm and flail, I wanna know what he got in return! 👿 *crybaby-mode: ON*
  14. Can we finally get a rules preview for the Curseling since the Aelf hero got hers days ago? 😡 (hatehatehatehatehatehate)
  15. Sure, you guys gotta decide - he only got a single squad of 3 fimir warriors unfortunately. Shipping might be a bit higher depending on where you live (we're in Austria). He's currently on holiday but should return in around a week or 1 1/2 weeks if I remember correctly. I'll ask him then but just like everyone else in the hobby, his backlog has gotten way too big as well so I believe he'll be happy to see go to a good home...
  16. I might be able to get extra FW Fimir (originals, for a reasonable price of course) if you ever need to get them. A mate in my group got them too but didn't even build them and he's got a lot of other things. Best to wait now if they really come out with new ones tho. Can't promise it 100% but there's a good chance (I'd say around 80%).
  17. I'd love you to be right! I love Fimir since HeroQuest. Don't really care about the background much (although I don't see the problem either as they're supposed to be horrible creatures but that topic is a can of worms) but I think their design is extremely unique and cool - I've been told that they were based on Irish folklore Fomorians which makes me afraid the Warcry "Fomoroid" Crusher or whatever it's called is supposed to be their replacement but who knows.... perhaps they can change the background to something less discussion-inducing (like needing women/people as food or a host for their spawn or something, same premise pretty much - or maybe they too evolved in all those years...) and gives us cool updates. I'm glad I bought the Forgeworld ones (just in case...).
  18. I wouldn't count on them detailing what happened to Vilitch Thomin, especially after him being the blueprint for a class of hero and getting his model replaced now. But you never know, there's definitely a chance to introduce him again as a "super curseling" (or the original) or something if his Total War III part makes waves. His design is still great but there's one detail to consider: They were fused twins, with Vilitch being a mutated runt.... the new Curselings are fusions out of "Tretchlets" (I think they're kind of daemonic mini-people, kinda like familiars but I can't look it up now) and people. It would IMO also be cool to see some of the classic Tzeentch heroes come back. I could easily imagine Aekold to return as it would be easy thanks to his gift of life - doesn't take much to write him back in if they wanted. Egrimm Van Horstmann would be cool too, especially because they could use his kit to give us Chaos dragons (Baudros/Galrauch, whatever), although out of those three he was the only one who pretty much got killed quite definitely. Then again The End Times was such a horribly written mess that I disregard it. It was insulting GoT S8 stuff to put it in a dramatic fashion.
  19. Yes, it's from the Cadian Command Squad from 2019!
  20. Don't forget the kidney*! ✌️ * Preferably someone else's
  21. Thanks for the praise, big one! The secret is pretty much an airbrush with white ink and somewhat dark colors so that you get enough contrast. I've also oversprayed it a bit, even where the light wouldn't hit stuff so that it looks like a "halo" from a distance (at least people with crappy eyes like me don't see lights as a small bright spot but a bigger one). Plus I can work less precise that way, that's always a win. 😂
  22. That's what 40k is for... They used to sell Cobra heads but it's gone unfortunately. Cause that would've been an amazing idea for a kill team. I mean, I already got 3 now but what's another? Edit: but you could use the cypher lords heads as a base too for Tzeentchian Cobra heads.... only need to fill up those eyes but that's super easy compared to your usual projects! Another edit: HA! I've found them.... https://www.etsy.com/listing/1011129308/enemy-heads-collection-28mm-sci-fi COBRAAAAAA-LALALALALALALA* * let's forget that second part....
