  1. And you really think that is the right direction? Not even an evil vamp is as toxic as the relationship of those two. I just wanted to add one little thing to the other discussion: I don't think one should really see Realms of Ruin lukewarm success as a big indicator of anything. Any RTS game struggles more or less, even SC2 does in the grand scheme of things, with Blizzard having earned more for a single WOW skin than SC2 (yes, REALLY... also the reason why they go berserk with loot boxes and extra skins). Looks like RTS are simply out of fashion at the moment. Haven't played RoR yet but I take it that it isn't as good as SC2 either.
  2. I think it just needs time… when I look at stuff like Ushoran, that particular artwork… who in their right mind doesn‘t love that? It‘s not really high fantasy anymore, it‘s dark (souls)! I‘m not one to love the basic concept for AoS with its endless realms (ok, they changed that thankfully already) and gods as I find that narratively speaking a difficult setting, but it‘s very clear that GW/the creatives add cool stuff in there bit by bit. In ten years it will be really fleshed out and feel quite complete. It‘s getting there faster than 40k and WHFB did. It‘s a work in progress as all cool universes are. It‘s not like Marvel, LOTR and the like were perfect from the start - various authors worked long and hard on them to create something cool. The bad apples from the WHFB crowd will always be haters but it‘s not like AoS is at fault there… if anything they can only blame GW or people in general for not supporting the game in a satisfying fashion. edit: what I think AoS should do is add more primarchs/strong heroes instead of focusing too much on the gods themselves personally. Makes it easier to come up with cool stories. I see the focus on „absolute“ characters for each faction as the single biggest problem for the setting currently but I figure time will add more layers/protagonists to esch faction too.
  3. I think high fantasy in general has it hard on TV, there‘s a bit of a barrier from my experience (e.g. most girls in my personal experience don‘t care for it). More grounded fantasy such as GoT and WHFB is probably easier to sell to the “masses“. An Amazon WHFB series would help TOW however, then GW would certainly produce more new stuff for it! Perhaps if there are more DnD movies and the like people will appreciate AoS fantastical elements more… or they‘ll make AoS more grounded or use the more grounded parts of lore/the realms.
  4. Or just be done with being overtly creative and give the gents that want mummies exactly that in AoS as well. And more egyptian-inspired skeletons. I think if TK sell really well, then that would likely happen. But it's hard to be confident there - the new dragon is amazing but will lots of people buy the old sculpts along with the awesome new ones? Kinda hard to imagine for me tbh.
  5. Oh, I'd really like to see that for you TK fans... mummies are pretty much the only trope missing from death's roster at this point. We got vamps, skeletons, ghosts, zombies, ghouls, golems/constructs... outside of mummies is there anything not covered in AoS? Wait, I'll go ask some Belmont or something.
  6. That's what Toolmineth Lamelords are for! 👺
  7. Yeah, she needs another 5-10 egyptian-inspired vamp hero friends! I've heard ScionofOssia is a big fan of the idea! 🤙
  8. Oh poop, with my excessive spamming, I‘ve created a new Chaos God. Welcome Junkial to the pantheon. Spam for the spam god!
  9. It could also be a squig… the tongue seems similar. 🤔 Anyways, whatever it is, as long as the rest looks this good, we all win.
  10. That‘s just a stormcast edit: still very sexay tho… what a lovely mini
  11. Or just spare yourself the effort and run her as Marylin Manson, then the face isn‘t too far off! 🤔
  12. It could be a new chaos dragon too… then again, chaos dragons should be tzeentchian as the lore (and law!) dictates. ****** you inferior chaos hoodlums! edit: with some even mild words like a certain thing to build furniture getting censored, my post sounds more aggressive than it should. Obviously the message remains, I just don‘t wanna boost Khorne. So yeah, push off, you second-rate chaos clowns! Tzeentch is the best, weeee!
  13. Ohhh, loving this shot. Looks great, whatever it is, I hope the rest of it will be as cool as its maw.
  14. We shall put our efforts and funds together and unlock the secret magic of nose jobs for her then! It's an evolving market, I tell ya! Those gaunt faces could use fillers or fat transfers too. It's a goldmine. When you exist for an eternity, don't let beauty standards ruin your day! And once she's even more plastic than a plastic mini (uhm...), she shall be known as Sekhardashian!
  15. With a bit of work/sculpting, one could probably give her one of the DoK faces, no idea if the sizes match though. She'd need to be dress a tiny bit slu-skimpier for the full DoK look though. 😇
  16. I'm looking forward to our Khemri fans' reactions to this new vamp. It's no mummy but maybe a mommy.
  17. That translates to Zondara's grave robbers... not sure that sounds like OBR per se but could be a lot of things.
  18. Look at his head, it‘s too small and ugly. The skull presses on his brain, that‘s why he‘s mad. Plus when he looks in the mirror… he‘s a poor dud(e).
  19. Now that Amazon is in… can they cast my idol Homelander in it as well? This might be big for Warhammer as a whole, just being able to order stuff over amazon would be rad next to the exposure it‘s getting. With Cavill on board after that Witcher drama… it’s gonna be good. Plus Amazon has a lot of great series, this is better than a netflix deal for sure, where the Emperor would be a black woman or something. When I order via GW I have to wait days (usually a week) until stuff arrives. And then they wonder why people buy from others… and then they make a lot of ****** exclusive to their store… pretty evil, I admire that!
  20. It's very clearly a strength potion for his nighthaunt buddy that can't lift his own sword! "Go on Mit Gas, you nasty good-for-nothing, you try lifting this without legs." Joey, the Executioner
  21. I disagree. As long as factions like Beastmen, Skaven, Ogors and Malerion haven't received a decent amount of new minis, it really isn't fine for them to redo "old" Stormcast models (which are like a decade younger than the minis of those factions), especially because they got wave after wave of new stuff meanwhile anyways. I'd also argue against it if they redid Tzeentch minis. I'm not against them giving SCE new toys at all (they or heck, even Lumineth can have the most kits for all I care) but it sucks that other forces still got basically nothing and here we are with another huge SCE wave. It's not like SCE amount to waaay over 50% of sales for AOS like Space Marines do...and while the latest SCE were all cool releases, I still would prefer something else. I really don't have anything against them per se. Edit: I do agree with your second point however - I hope they will trim the SCE lineup and give them a great battletome!
  22. Yeah, unfortunately you‘ll be proven right I fear. It would be cool though… that and heroes/creatures becoming less of instruments of their respective leaders would be my wishes for 4, as it would open up the setting narratively much more. While we‘re more than welcome to create our own force’s backgrounds, I feel the scale is too grand at times. I‘ll be frank, I don‘t care about Teclis, Sigmar, Archaon or even Nagash too much, I want my Starscreams, I want drama and characters doing their own thing. I like the hands-off approach of the big 4 much more than the gods actively being part of the setting most of the time as what are you gonna do if your God is right behind you? You‘ve got little room to stray from their path… I know, the books are getting better and better in this regard and fleshing out the world snd characters but I still feel like a lot of the basic lore we get in battletomes and the like makes it all about the few „super-characters“ and grand machinations.
  23. Yeah, the factions/people in AoS need to label themselves just as much as gen z. The biggest fear of all inhabitants in the Mortal Realms aren‘t foul monsters but not very clearly belonging to the same god as everyone else in their alliance and doing their own thing. It‘s like high-school!
  24. I‘d like that but I fear it‘s going to be Stormcast. I‘d love to see a mixed force of SCE with new Cities units fighting Skaven, Beastmen or Malerion, actually, maybe defending their city or something as the story. That‘s even more unrealistic as it would feature 3 instead of 2 forces but it would be a sexy set and then GW wouldn‘t have to do multiple kits for the same Stormcast updates (pushfits for the starter set and then whole new multipart kits for the actual release)… I‘m actually interested how the older SCE units get redesigned now though. I like pretty much all iterations but the newer stuff is cooler. I hope AoS 4 will encourage mixing forces more. I really love mixing super-elites with normal dudes/gals but that‘s perhaps just me but it instantly sets up a cool narrative. Like when space marines come to save the day and guardsmen see them. It‘s a wonderful visual to me.
