When you get lockdowned at the gym for them gains! :D

The Vindictor's simple warscroll makes me relieved they're not a must take powerhouse with multiple abilities like Sequitors were. It's much easier to run Liberators & Vindictors(and even throw in the Vanguard rangers) together as infantry that can support eachother and give the enemy a nasty zap when they all reforge.

Hopping back to an older topic, I hope Dawncrusaders have some update goodies for Fyreslayers like their article hinted at. Them, Azyrites and Daughters working together would fit the Avatar-Gotrek & Maleneth partnership as she's both a khainite & Order of Azyr,  fit with the Fyreslayers lore of them getting along with the Ulgu races

"Caengan - Long ago, the Caengan lodge settled in the Realm of Ulgu seeking hidden ur-gold in the mists. Forming pacts with the Shadowkin in clandestine wars, the lodge has learned the subtle ways of battle from the Shroudling Kings."

And besides looking for Ur-gold on the dawner expeditions they can also look for more lost feral lodges in Ghur which is 3.0's main focus.

"The Wild Lodges - Tales of Fyreslayers living in the Vanishing Wilds of Ghur tell of feral duardin daubed in molten metal. Several Runesons of Aqshy rode out to find these lost brothers, but so far none have returned"

I'd love a updated CoS Soup which allows to draw from every Order Faction (with restrictions concerning which faction can come along with which other factions ofc)

Enhancements are taken, and given to specific units. The spell lores enhancement is taken (and is what lets any of your wizards know any additional spells) and given to each wizard, but unique character cannot be given enhancements so they do not receive the benefit of the spell lores enhancement

explains why they showed the Arcane Bolt example for Nagash: there isn't much else he can do XD

New SCE got has been almost tabled while did completly nothing :D
Yes I know that point cost for KO was still based on 2.0 and they did few mistakes related to CA frequency but geez the power gap was huge!

That + bad dice rolls. ^^

  4. Soooo.... the new Rally CA:

Half of my skellies die, I resurrect 50% of those back to the unit due to the units special rule.
If I use Rally now I would roll for all models that have died so far, right?

  5. This is just a Realisation so don‘t take it as hate okay:

At first glance it seems like LRL are the biggest winners. They have good shooting which got better. They are rewarded for staying in formation while having a good range (2“-3“ melee range). And Teclis completely bypasses the miscasts, which all other gods will suffer from. All the Hurakan movement shenanigans are amplified by the redeploy special rule.

I‘ll have a look at the rules to form my first solid opinion though.

Generally? Nothing. Combat still works pretty much the same as it did before. There are some extra clarifications in the Core Concepts section like you can only get one ability that triggers on a roll. There's a special section that breaks down Strike First and Strike Last and how they interact with eachother. I think the damage section is a bit nicer too but I don't think there were any changes in how it works. Battleshock is pretty much the same. The only change I noticed is they made a difference between slain models and models that flee. Artefacts are bundled into the Enhancements system now, but they haven't really changed. You still only get one that can go to any hero and if your sub allegiance specifies one then you have to take that first.

What? So they incorporated 40K rules without the additional 40K rules that made them work in the first place? O.o

Let me guess they truly added miscast which Nagash will suffer from while Teclis doesn‘t care?

Arcane Bolt change : cast it then unleash it at the top of any phase . Within 12” it’s one mortal wound - within 3 “ it’s D3. Nagash can combo this like the new article states that’s probably why his points went up

I like it :D the Nagash bomb

I’m not sure he’s bigger, I think it’s a combination of him standing up strait and on some rubble.

    Indeed.

the new SCE is standing very straight and upright atop of rubble. The Liberator has a wide stance
