I know GW has said Cathay and Kislev are a couple of years away, but what do we think the odds are of even half of the roster from Total War being ported over? Including DLC stuff?-

I have decided to make some right-proper Bull-Centaurs, led by my metal Hthark from Bloodbowl as the Tauruk, and a Forgeworld Shartor. I was thinking plastic Juggernaut bodies and Ogor torsos/arms. Guess for the heads Ogor heads with added horns and maybe beards? Then should do single-handed weapons and shields or should I do great weapons? Gonna base them on rectangular stone plinthes of appropriate size for Old World too, then magnetize those for oval bases when friendly gamers are alright with Legends.
Well we know from old lore and TWW that Bull Centaurs often became biomechanical monsters due to experimentation, so the juggernaut bodies make sense (heck I've had the same idea), though I think you should use Ogroid Myrmidons as the upper torso since they're more muscular and bull like then ogors (so you just need to add beards). Speaking of the taurus in the room, what do you think will happen to Shaartor? will he labor in hobby limbo exile or be reborn in glorious plastic once GW decides to bring the lads onto the tabletop proper?

Heck that might be why they need things like the Horns of Hashut to lay the groundwork’s for them since they’re too clunky to get somewhere fast.
Five bucks says that this quote by @Baron Klatz becomes the basic lore for either a new named character or the generic "daemon prince" type hero for the army.

This may be the wrong thread to post this in, but has anyone seen the scarabs & scorpions included in this earlier preview post? I know odds are these are part of the tomb swarm kit, but I like to hope this means more plastic kits are inbound....

Honestly if they used the old/standard gold (retributor armor, reikland flesh shade, liberator armor +stormhost silver) I think it could've worked out.

Honestly IMO Sekhar just needs a mask and a better paint job for her skin. I'm thinking either the Tomb Guard champ's mask or one from The Masque of Slaanesh's wand:

The Gloomspite Gitz also have a rather large capital/Fortress in Ayadah which is located in Chamon, so we can also get ritz with everything mentioned above if we focus on Chamon.....

Anyone have any ideas for kitbashing a unit of Infernal Guard? Cause looking over the list I’m fairly certain I can kitbash just about everything else to have a decent army if I use modern destruction kits…..

All this is to say, I don't play them competitively right now, but I still have hope we will see more. We still have the Cythai plot from Broken Realms to sort through. They are one of the first fully fleshed out AOS armies to have a rounded roster. They really just need rules and points tweaks before new models.

The DoK character is really cool but there's nothing of interest to me personally - I wonder if GW overcommited to the Solar Auxilia though. Do 30k players want something other than mahreens?Let me explain @MitGas: I'm writing up a home-brew Shyishian Underwold based on Egypt/Nehekhara, I need some "enlightened" invaders trying to "improve" or "preserve" ancient artifacts that they think the locals can't protect because the invaders think their culture is superior...... only to get absolutely pimp-slapped by the locals because they didn't listen to the legends of curses.... and who better then a bunch of knife-ears to play the role of the French/British?
Personally if they were gonna add any more factions to HH, I would have preferred more troop choices for the mechanicum/mechanicus or maybe just a few more of their kits being made resin.
