The title says it all: what would you like to see if/when GW finally returns to Warcry? Since I created the post I’ll go first. 1. An expansion of the current warbands lore and models. For example, maybe we could get a minor daemon that are bound to each warbands’ idea of chaos (snake daemon for The Splintered Fangs, Forge Daemon for Iron Golems, etc). 2. A death warband worshipping a “fallen” deity (with coffins, broken clocks, the whole works). 3. Death and Destruction warbands. 4. More monsters like the Shiranx and Ogroid Myrmidon.

I’m doing a Tomb Kings flavored gravelords army that’s based in a swamp in Ghur called The Soul Vine Bayou, which feeds into a oceanic realmgate. My Hedonites are also based out of there, and both of them are searching for a near forgotten demi-goddess. I try to showcase the swamp by using gloomspite bits, stirland battlemire, and Nurgle’s rot.

Personally I want to see some expansions on the current war bands, or maybe a new one based off Hollywood voodoo. Can you imagine the crazy shenanigans a chaos necromancer could pull?

I never used the army builder, I just downloaded the free Tomb Kings rules.

This is gonna be real good! I'm hoping for updated daemonettes and perhaps some undivided monstrosities. So what you're saying is my Night Lords will soon have a legion of chaos Robins to go alongside their Terrorist Batman gimmick? Good times are ahead for Chaos Space Marine players.

I agree with @Clan's Cynic, so far the only “rumors” we’ve had in regards to 3.0 (not counting stormcasts and swamp orks) have been mainly focused around what factions are going to get a new hero via a box set. The only other source of rumors we’ve had are what new faction is coming out, which so far has been chaos dwarfs or silent people, the souping of the dwarf factions (which almost no one wants), and the reveal of Cathay in Total War this September. If I’m forgetting anything let me know. Most, if not all of these have probably been pushed back due to COVID-19’s cousin Delta and Brexit. As well as the blocking of the Suez Canal.

At least one that isn't a conversion. Also, anyone here anything about chaos dwarfs? I'd also take speculation for Cathay in Total War: Warhammer III. I don't know about you guys, but I really want to see some cathayan undead (particularly vampires).

Is it wrong for me to say I'm really happy they didn't really mention any AOS stuff in that link? Cause if half of those rumors come true I'll be happy.

Some Kruleboyz lore News! alright, my local game store over in Illinois is run by some pretty decent chaps. How decent? You might be asking? They let me pick up a copy of the new White Dwarf yesterday. In the SoB segment it mentions how the sons and Kruleboyz don’t really get along, with fights between the Stomps and Klaws being common. There’s also mention of a bunch of gargants being led by a pair of spectral feet, and that at least one big boi worshipped Sigmar enough to become a saint. pic(s) for proof:

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: GW NEEDS TO BRING BACK THE TOMB KINGS WARSPHINX!!! It bugs me how a rather nice and new kit was given the shaft, alongside the tomb guard and the sepulchral stalkers. Those were new kits with a working mold, why weren’t they somehow integrated into legions of Nagash/Soulblight Gravelords? Rant aside, @KingBrodd you’re idea sounds amazing. Maybe since we’re in Ghur they could be made up of more Destruction monsters, like the horns of a Thundertusk or a shield made from a Stonehorn’s face?

Did somebody mention TOMB KINGS?! Oh wait, it’s just the usual complaining comparison…… *summons the necropolis* WHO DARES DISTURB MY SLUMBER?!?!?! Honestly @KingBrodd I’m not that hung up on the Xenos, mostly due to the fact that I’m not sure what kind of monstrosity they could unleash upon us that won’t just have the fans be like “Oh! They ripped off X!” But you know what? I kinda wanna see them do some kind of bio mechanical monstrosity like the quintessons from transformers: First off, amazing painting as always @Enoby, you are both an inspiration and a source of envy. A big problem I have with the lore nowadays is that Chaos is now almost all Chaos Space Marines of some flavor. Some of my favorite recent releases have been the Gellerpox Infected, and the Corpse Grinder Cults. These two “factions” showcase some of the myriad ways chaos can affect a person. The Gellerpox are sailors who’ve fallen to plague because of the ancient superstitions that are supposed to protect them from it, and the Corpse Grinders have snapped from the brutal way the Imperium handles the mortuary business. Now though, all we get is some form of space marine legion/chapter/warband, and it gets really annoying.

I’m working on a dark mech army right now, it’s Japanese biker gang themed(and corrupted by Slaanesh). AOS wise I’m done wishing for things for Kruleboyz, they’ve jerked us around too many times already. Now I’m hoping for Chaos Dwarfs or that STD gets a new chaos warrior multipart kit.

I’m one of the few people who honestly loves the “side” factions of Necromunda, and I agree with this statement 100%. It’s also nice to feel vindicated, as a few months back I said that GW would eventually make models for all the hanger ons and alliances (I’m hoping for House Catallus or the Promethium Guild, those would make some sweet Tzeentch flavored Dark-Mech conversions).

Out of curiosity, did they say what the two factions are in the box? Or what new plastic kit is being released? In particular do you know if there are any Mark II kits coming out?
