  1. "After calling out Radukar’s colossal failure at Ulfenkarn during a rare visit to her clan’s conclave, Ivya offered a solution. She would use her bats to spy out nexuses of power upon which the dynasty could lay the foundations of a new, even greater city of death. Now the armies of the Vyrkos jockey to establish their new capital, with Ivya marching at their head." this sounds so perfect for hero-heavy SBGL force where they all bicker and fight. maybe even painting each section of the army to one hero's colors? really nice fluff to fit a loner into an army that is essentially 'family' run I really like the narrative of the Soulblight dynasties going out and establishing new cities on sites do magical power. It matches the current narrative of most armies but at the same time reminds us the Death armies are still major players in the narrative, regardless of Nagash and his current condition.
  2. Hmmm….. on the one hand I do like the new Wolf-girl hero and the vanguard…. On the other hand my pile of shame is almost as big as the dunes of LONG LOST NEHEKHARA!!! …… I’ll leave it up to God and my wallet.
  3. I think that ultimately, TOW and it’s growth will be decided by two things: the rules and the models. Despite what certain groups online say, the announcement of TOW has largely been met with approval: I know for a fact that this community was hyped on the rumour thread when the news came out. Change will always be met with resistance, just look back to when Guilliman and 8th of 40K came and threw the galaxy into turmoil for proof (or more appropriately, The End Times and AOS’ launch). What made these changes bearable to the community at large? The new models. Yes, we all love to bash the Primaris, but do you hear many complaints about the Death Guard? Or what about when the Hedonites range was announced? And do I need to bring up the glory of the Kharadron Overlords and The Leagues of Votann? The ranges speak for themselves. From what we’ve seen of the new models for Bretonnia and The Tomb Kings, I genuinely believe that TOW will have some wonderful kits, and can’t wait to see what GW comes up with for the “new” factions like Kislev and Cathay. TOW will live and die by its models and rules, much like any other game. Who cares about the complainers, gatekeepers, and PC-Gamers when the first rule of Warhammer is to have fun?
  4. I won’t deny it @The Red King, you’ve definitely been shafted this edition and that ain’t right. If your going to kit bash Lhorngors, remember that the Khorne and Chaos blood bowl teams have a decent amount of beastmen, and that they’re relatively cheaper than most GW “army” kits, so you just need to have enough spare weapons to put in their hands.
  5. Wow are these guys and gals lovely. The Tzeentch Warband looks like a Disney Animators bad acid trip mixed with a death metal cover and I am here for it! and of course, @MitGas.
  6. I’m really enjoying the feel of the two death heroes, they both have that “Rally to me brothers!” Feel that makes them stick out on the tabletop.
  7. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/03/23/abandon-ship-kin-and-beastmen-flee-the-death-of-a-space-hulk-in-kill-team-gallowfall/ That feeling when 40K gets updated Beastmen models before Beast of Chaos…
  8. @MitGas wake up brother! We have mortals to corrupt!
  9. BY LONG LOST NEHEKHARA @DinoJon! I AM BOTH HAPPY AND ENVIOUS OF YOU RIGHT NOW!!! You get some epic models to ply with while I gotta wait until the end of the year for an update….
  10. @MitGas, think this guy could be a good base for a fancy Tzeentch Daemon Prince in 40K? He fits your preferred style to an extent….. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2023/03/23/lion-eljonson-primarch-of-the-dark-angels-returns-to-warhammer-40000/
  11. I swear I’m not, I’m just honestly surprised….
  12. Ok I will pay good money to see a House Lannister Dark Angels army with the Lion at the helm.
  13. No problem mate, just get some sleep and let your American Mummy catch you up on all the goodies.
  14. Honestly with Nagash currently being Down for The Count lore wise, I wouldn't mind seeing some "upstart" death-gods expand their power through the realms in order to claim his spot. Some would call this a cliche, others divine justice, I'd call it something interesting.
  15. I TAKE IT BACK! GIVE ME UNDEAD DWARFS!!! I know for a fact in one of the old Josh Reynolds books Neferata has a whole cadre of skeleton dwarf blacksmiths and I am here for it.
  16. Catslevania is just a great source of vampire inspiration in general, I mean look at some of the guys and ghouls from the 2017 show alone: Cho_model_sheet.webp Cho%27s_Soldier_Model.webp Sharma_model.webp
  17. @Vasshpit I understand completely, honestly it's both easier and cheaper then my method: kitbash what I don't have out of Disciples of Tzeentch and SBGL kits.
  18. If we're wish listing for specific factions, then a new Graveguard kit and some more Vyrkos Bloodline units would be nice. Perhaps something with a more Egyptian feel to it....
  19. Everyone love mummies, almost everyone loves Ancient Egypt (there's always that one Roman or Persian Empire fan who wants to start something), therefore everyone should enjoy Tomb Kings.
