The shape of the glaives makes it pretty clear they're meant to be undead skaven. We don't really expect GW to do 100% accurate rodent osteology, do we?

Those weapon are definitely old and rosty just like the skaven tools, but still I have never ever seen an skaven weapon shaped in the same form like those glaives

There were skaven shown, they just happened to be dead. Stop being so picky ?

Well looks like I’ll be playing a plain skaven allegiance with dead and living rats ?

Jeah. I am also a bit bummed, because I had hoped for a Moonclan Goblins teaser for this weekend.

But on the other hand Death got no new Age of Sigmar model release, while we got Ironjawz. So I think it was their turn before Destruction got anything. But don't understand me wrong. I am also a bit sad that we got nothing Destruction related.

I am not even that big of a fan of Ironjawz and Goblins and really really want an Ogor release. But I don't think this will ever happen in the near future. Maybe never. So I decided to root for the Gobbos, because for me they are more interesting and will propably have a more versatile playstile than Ironjawz.

Yeah me too and if possible a skaven release (they really need it badly)

You still need the tithe, which means two or more units have to be dead (ignoring blood sacrifice and some items, because they are unreasonable) and even then you can only unbind one spell tops. (plus all additional points are lost)

Generating the points is the conditional part of this system. You start with zero points and cannot reliably generate new ones over and over again to really put a dent in someones hero phase. It might seem really cool and fancy on paper or in a vacuum but in a real game blood tithe is more a feature than an army defining mechanic.

Point being, SCE getting Wizards and there being a magic supplement only furthers the gap and my depression playing Khorne. Maybe it's time for shelf.

Well if your going to give up so easily, then I really won’t understand it.

i for myself play mixed skaven or mostly just plain verminus, and believe me I lost most of my games with them, but isn’t this something what makes those weaker armies fun? After all even if you play now a weaker army and you lost a thousand times the only thing which will happen is the way you will think use your army and build list. And sooner or later you have an army list which works great with your Strategy and will be a hart nut to crack open and then you will show everybody what it means to Use magic in front of the Blood god.

and believe me, I had a hart time playing against my friends with the generic skaven. I even got to last place with them on every tournament I went, until I started to play on 2000p 380Meatshields (Clanrats and giant rats)

and even now I’m getting ideas for new armylist which I love to try out and maybe it will be great or just bad, but the only way to know if it works is to trie it out and find new ways.

I've already covered the rune and similar items.

Considering blood tithe, it's availability is very conditional.

Just think about it for a while and you'll see the issues.

I’m not sure what you mean after all you don’t need any range, and you do not have to role higher than your Opponement to Bann the magic,

    it literally just autobanns it

    Your comment came off differently.

In short, they are not reliable.

The issue itself is ingrained into AoS at the moment. While there are several ways to make your spells really reliable (DoT, LoN, character specific rules...) there are rarely boosts to unbind. Either way, you have to win the roll-off somehow and that can be really hard if your opponent has +2 to cast or can choose his dice. There are some automatic unbinds which have one use only, but when your opponent is pumping out 4-6 spells per turn... go figure.

(there are some items and shields that give some protection from spells, but they tend to be very specific)

I hope they thought about something to not let AoS devolve into even more of a magic fest as it is already.

Well what about the artifact or the blood tide?

you can literally Bann any kind of magic thanks to the brace run and two bloodtithe points.

    I want this so bad.

Thinks I want to see in the future

Sky Goblin pirates, The so called famous skaven scorbut clan now flying, dead stormcast eternals, by skaven eaten dwarfs, Aelves and man things, Skavenslaves for all clans, a new release or Battletome for Moonclan Grots, ogre (Gutbusters), Ironjaws, new minis for Orks (Greenskinz), A book which tells us the storie about the skaven in aos ,a Battletome and some new minis for Darkling Coven and other Aelven  faction  which have nothing for example the previous Highhelf,  a new and better Grand Chaos and destruction allegiance and last but not least a Skaven  Battletome

Good guy Fatshark allows us luckily, to slaughter vermin by millions!

Yeah, that was a great game, unluckily though,  I bought it for my ps4 and it only works if you pay the extra money to play online ?

First of all: Hi! This is my first post on the forum. Nice to meet you all

I'm hoping for some new dispossessed or high elves. Seems unlikely though... one can dream :)

That would be great. Ah how I miss the old skaven vs Dwarfen battles

    once upon a time

The old world existed and Skaven slaughtered dwarfs out of existent (almost) those were the good times. And then Sigmar came

    the end

I agree with this.  Wherever they discuss technology in the AOS context it tends to seem more steampunk influenced.  Like the huge walker city the Skaven have and the numerous other mentions of potential flying factions. Not sure how I feel about this but definitely seems to be the way things are going.

Wait the skaven have a walking city??

From my understanding it wasnt an attack on Skreech but an attempt to forewarn him into protecting someone whose job and employment could well have been put at risk for disclosing precise information that could easily identify the leak. We all like rumours but I'd hazard a guess that none of us want someone getting the sack so we can get vague information about toy soldiers.

Well I didn’t see it as an attack on me but more as a warning from which I can learn  to correct and see my mistakes.

so yes some comments were maybe a little bit hardish, but still a great way of learning from mistakes which were made.

    No, dig up!

You said it was 'definitely true'

If you want to do the rumour thing, just have a think who else you could be compromising dude. Both the people I have that tell me stuff (and I stress I have no interest in being a rumour monger, I simply pass on what I know) I'm deliberately vague about.  I'll tell you now, if what you have said about the Slaneesh release, you have named the person there, I'll tell you that for a fact.

Well thanks for the information, I’ll remeber it and hopfully not do to many mistakes another time?
