I don't know, the Blood Island box was re-released and liquidated with AoS already on the market because it didn't sell very well in eighth edition.

It was sold incredible well actually.

although the biggest problem was that on a single sprue you had high elve bits mixed in with the skaven stuff

Pretty sure Skaven is failure in a nutshell

Mmmh dental ensurance, might be too much, we should remove that too from our contracts🤔

Dawnbringer 6 died in the accident. You have to let go, it wasn’t your fault!

It had no skaven in it, it was doomed to fail

Also I am fairly certain that Skaven observe their own holidays.

We don’t offer our underlings holidays,

dental is the least thing they get,

Just more CoS kits 😅 They are all pretty nice.

Well… I mean int theroy the human range at least does needs some kits.

they are missing a heavy infantry with great weapon equipped unit.

    some more artillery.

bothing against the cannon, but where are those multi barrel smaller cannons or mortars

Spearhead won’t be for me. The joy of a table top war-game (for me), is playing my list that I’ve put (too many) hours of thought and craft into, against someone else’s. I’m not interested in playing a pre-made list, but I hope there’s something for other people to get excited about.

Mmh, I’d suggest having a look at old world.

i have a feeling you might like the list building there specifically

Guess I'm just not eager to paint all the Night Goblins.  I might be painting a bunches of Skaven, and I know I'll be painting bunches of Chaos Dwarfs :D

I’m funnily enough incredible eager in painting currently my night goblins and black orcs,

although that might chance with the skaven release coming at some point

Man, I wasn't expecting to get excited about Spearhead, but I really like what they've shown!

Smaller-scale games curated from a set list of models that are - supposedly - tightly balanced against one another.

The Yndrasta rule is flavorful (tanky hero and dudes coming in to turn the tide) and seems like an excellent way to balance out more powerful units.

Redeploy is a nice addition too, which genuinely sounds like good fun.

Funnily enough I’m not really that excited.

spearhead even after reading the article, reminds me heavily of the combat patrol system.

it’s fun to learn the game with it, but its a system you funnily enough din’t want to play to often.

As of what we currently know what spearhead is, I fear it might end up the same

Having mentioned Ogors, don't forget Lumineth as well, I guess 99% they will get water-themed wave in the upcoming edition (at least a hero, a unit and an avatar with warcry band included in tome already).

Don’t we have the fish-things for that?

I still can't work out what the distinct KO and FS accessories are supposed to be 😆

He ain't staying on that base in TOW anyway, so no worries on that front.

I've circled what I think are the KO and FS accessories. The belt is perfectly acceptable as any Dwarf thingy. I guess the KO accessories are a bit techy, but I don't think they are out of place.

Can’t really see anything out of place either.

    i mean He’s got a compass,

well seems like something most engineers will be able to create with ease😂

    41 minutes ago, Beliman said:

Compass and the small weights are classic kharadron props (a lot of KO models have this stuff).

The metal-things with big gem that tie this beard is a Fyreslayers design.

While that is true that design is also related to the dispossessed dwarfs.

We already know that this will be repackaged. It doesn't count as a new plastic kit. If there is a new plastic kit it would maybe be a Cockatrice or something like that, but don't think that those are big sellers. I have no idea what could be released in plastic for Beastmen.

I am very curious what they would do with the Beastmen Arcane Journal. Imo the O&G Arcane journal is the best one yet. It adds two really different playstyles to O&G.

It be awesome if that’s the case.

Although the cockatrice is one of the newer fantasy kits if I remember correctly.

it was released with the ghorgon sometimes during the 8th edition if I remember correctly

The next release will probably be an "evil" faction, so Warriors of Chaos or Beastmen. I am looking forward to both.

I wonder if any of those two would recieve a plastic kit and which resin characters could be released with it.

I would love to see a plastic Chaos dragon. There is no AoS entry for that, so no conflicting sales. But I fear this is a bit to optimistic 😄

I don't think we will see a plastic kit for Beastmen.

And even if we don’t get a chaos dragon,

I’d suggest having s look at one of petes the wargamers video.

if I remember correctly he converts the new stormcast on small dragon i to a chaos lord on chaos dragon

  12. Currently old word really is keeping me motivated to paint.

But personally If I have to share anything,

videos or pictures of other painting can really get one hyped.

For me it is all those great conversion I have seem for the old world, and well the system itself is a lot of fun to play so, motivation keeps on growing, even after I helped a friend paint 80-100clanrats for the last two days.

    Exactly. 🙂

Also why I believe the legacy factions will come back sooner than later (after all the core factions got their Arcane journals and after halflings (I am convinced we will see the Moot 🙂 ))is because GW is just letting money slip through their fingers. Currently it seems that the community just plays legacy factions as they were core. My friend, who will be my main opponent for TOW is building a VC army.

But most importantly, as that is the most visible part is that for tournaments legacy factions are also played and they are frequently played.

So imo, after the Arcane journals and a campaign book, legacy factions wil get attention. Ofcourse this is only wishlisting from my part. But GW loves money, their shareholders love money and its clear that there is money to be made with releasing old stuff. So it would be absurd that they wouldn't open the vaults and start selling old VC and etc stuff... . It's a smaller investment than releasing a Cathay range. 😉

I mean the fact that they updated the legacy pdfs does hint that they seem to be starting to include them at some point.

from a business stand point, its also bot a bad thing having an army in more then one system
