Mate, have you ever met a true skaven player

I had the honor… sadly he left the country after meeting my AoS 1.5 ghoul regeneration FEC list 🤣

I had a congo line 💃💃💃 all across the table and into his artillery pieces, then breaking coherency to claim all his territory… all the while my heroes hid behind a shed and buffed like crazy 🕺

He took brutal revenge with plaquemonks on my poor bloodknights a week later 🤷🏿‍♀️

however it didn't get much discussion going.

What do you hope to discuss? list looks crazy… 🤪

Nagash will die, but you’ll have to keep him alive till end of turn 3 to have a solid chance

VLoZD looks good as melee monster, thought about Vhordrai, but artifact etc.

Maybe a Vengorian and a Necromancer, but who knows if going more defensive is good 🧐

Radukar and a Necro might be something, with the extra 10 puppies, but still less hp and less punch, even if you‘ll have 10 more models…

maybe the beast and a vamp lord for 2k on the spot… but necro debuffs are better, than the „interesting“ lore of vamps…

or throw everything out the window for some naggi/manni GG combo

like maybe all try-hards are into loin cloths and dad bods.

SoB: pure luck and loincloth 🤔

    seems legit …

For other armies, Lady Luck might tip the balance in a tight spot, but usually has little effect. Otherwise we‘d see far more mangler-squig lists on top 😅

But I guess SoB, SBGL or first Prince still have a bit of a wild card bonus. I think SoB because the army is totally different from the usual AoS armies, SBGL is still very new and First Prince has a crazy ace (he locked Radukar for one whole round (3) and prevented a devastating counter charge) to give him an edge.
The Overview Statistic gives a very good outlook who has been given all the tools or who needs a tailored list to be beaten…

sad to see only 10 games from my bretonian Knights

Is there a good overview on all our units and how they're performing in 3.0 so far?

AoS Coach just had a chat about SB ob YouTube…

as with all recommendations: ymmv depending on local meta, dice gods and personal skillz 🤪

Played a vyrkos list with belladamma, the beast, vengorian 2x5 bk… was very nice.

grave guards are hyped as blenders, Nagash is back on the table..

a lot of things are possible, especially at casual tables

  5. I really like the beast wherever…

he is pretty tanky with 12 hp and -1 to hit

he is reasonably fast with 8“ and his run&charge ability

    he comes with 10 wolves

call to hunt buffs all units within 18“ with +1 attack, that’s pretty decent

i would consider him even in a Nagash list, because he is pretty independent and brings some more models to the table…

and I realized that there are certain (rare) cases

Bit late to the party, but those cases are not that rare at all… low model count army being outflanked, sometimes it is over end of round 3.

the chosen turn tactics might help you score extra, increasing objective value etc. but in certain Battleplans if your opponent is able to bog you down and score all for three turn and maybe deny a turn objective (kill warlord) with a sneaky redeploy…

I doubt we'll ever get to the stage where the data is good enough to do that with any decent confidence.

True words and all the fuzz is not needed to address some of the major issues the game has. On the competitive level as well as on the casual tables…

Especially the big break of 3. Edition really shook up the game and if your synergies or plans don’t fit into 3.0, you probably have to pray for 4.0 🙄

Maybe FEC, but at only 10 games played that's not reliable.

Well, they took a hit in AoS 3.0…

smash bat battalion got lost, giving two units feeding frenzy, superbuffing of units got harder.

trouble with those statistics is, that they don’t really count in player skill. I guess, that the WaaC-Players will buy into the new hotness and max cheese, while the BoC players play their beloved army. They might do that very competently, but the crazy guys lay the crazy armies 🤔

  9. Next week, I‘ll take my court out for a little hunt… 🥳

Not sure about what court exactly, but probably a feast day:

    D1F113C9-5F30-40FE-9DDB-348B22CEDA4C.png

since summoning is at the end of movement, as is the deep strike of the GkoZd, I‘m thinking of outflanking the dragon, with 3 horrors (from GkoTg) and a varghulf (GkoZd) 🤔 if the enemy is very cowardly I might use flayers, but otherwise…

regent will either summon another varghulf for the 6 flayertorpedo or 20 ghouls for more bodies 👻

thought about going blisterskin, but I love the discount mage infernal too much

anybody with insights on FEC 3.0?! And the ghast is in the hunters btl.🤪

Could i do it or my oppo did right?

    Core Rule 6.0 :

A model cannot issue more than 1 command in the same phase and a unit cannot receive more than 1 command in the same phase. In addition, you cannot use the same command ability more than once in the same phase (even for different units).

    your opponent is right.

your BKs can get Commands yelled at them in EVERY Phase of your turn AND ALSO in EVERY phase of your opponents turn… by the same guy technically

So when you run Mortis Preatorians

I end up in jail for theft... don‘t play/own OBR 🥳 as I said above my Statement

Not sure about your rules, but like @Btimmy wrote with AoS 3.0 you (I in SB or FEC) can always choose a „generic“ general for trait & artifact, the others get the „also count as, in addition“ treatment, so supreme thingy should be safe ...

but Glutos from the hedonites is about the same point range, a bunch of other models are just short of 500 and pretty decent above 1k (gotrek/ kroak/ MegabossCabbage...).
Just a lot of concentrated power, so tricky to wield and with a big target on its back.

Should he be played at that level or only be reserved for 2k games?

     - - - Disclaimer - - -

    I don’t play OBR, I don’t play competitively…

Ask again if you’re working on a Nagash list at 1,5k 🤣

450-500 point centerpiece is not throwing off all balance and composition within your list. My FEC court always sports a 450pts Ghoulking on Terrorgheist beyond 1k, just to keep the opponent busy. usually the same for Soulblight with a Lord on Dragon, although they have a lot of very good intermediate options at 200-350 points.

And back in the old days of LoN I played 800point Nagash in a 1k list, was great fun, great wins and terrible losses 🥳

You just have to think about your plan, who is supposed to deal damage, who is supposed to be fast and who gets to be the anvil…

but Katakros makes a very solid centerpiece with the big buff/heal and support aura, finest hour and all out defense giving him 20hp at 2+ with healing and recovery

he doesn’t do damage, but if he sits on the Centre objective, your opponent is going to hate you 😆

Mechanically, Endless Legions allows you to put a new unit on the table at half the size of a unit that was previously destroyed.

Please also remember, that this NEW unit is also not part of any Battalions, like „hunters of the heartland“… 🙁

i wouldn't bump the knights to 10 as that coherency change sucks.

    QfT

the only reason might be, if you know you’re fighting a „first strike“ blender…

5 all out attacking knights took down Be‘lakor in one charge , if they were facing some Slaanesh filth, with locus of diversion, fighting last might cripple them

not aiming for top meta but equally do want something with a bit of bite 🦇

I guess it is more casual than a Kasteleii list with double Knights instead of gheist and skellis 🤣

It goes against the spirit of the monster mash, but belladamma and 10 wolves would give you mobile caster support…

so your second terrorgheist can charge into the blissbarb archers 😖

    unless you're really scared of

    My tactics are failing meeeee….😰🤯

Deepstriking Nagash sounds stupid, but yes, there might be convoluted strange happenings out there, when it might be interesting to try 😆

you can make a RUN after using Morbheg's Claw.

Yes, that is true… I guess the rules Writer was in a hurry.
Screws up the retreat with our slow poke infantry, since you‘ll have to get every model out of 3“ with only the 4“ move. Tricky if your engaged with two units or being wrapped around on one side
