2k FEC New to Death

New to Death and was looking at some synergies and ideas. I like the look and feel of FEC, and especially love how inexpensive of an army it is. I think it is a great starting point as I can basically make a 2k list for under $300. Having said that, this is my initial list:

I like a lot that this list has to offer. The synergies of rerolls to hit and wound, the 5+/5+ ward saves, the regenerating and reviving models. The one big hang up I have outside of rend, is bubble wrapping. I love the Ghoul Patrol, but fear they leave me vulnerable at the same time.

Also, this is an entry into death, not an end.

I saw a similar list on a battle report I watched on Youtube and it looked pretty good.  I'm considering trying something like this myself but I'm not a fan of Ghoul Patrol because it's too ubiquitous.

Maybe it can be better to inceease the number of 20 model ghoul unit by dropping the courtier.

I think you need the courtier for ghoul patrol batalion.

You do need him, but I had thought of dropping ghoul patrol myself. That would net 160 points between the ghoul patrol and courtier giving me 200 points to work with.
