Squirrelmaster Posted December 14, 2016 Share Posted December 14, 2016 I've been thinking of adding Necropolis Knights to my Golden Host of Mahrak (Tomb Kings painted gold). Rather than hunting ebay for the official models, I've been thinking about conversions. I'd want to use them at the local Games Workshop, so they'd have to be based on official GW models. I have lots of leftover bits and I can work greenstuff fairly weil, and they wouldn't necessarily have to be snake riders if it was obvious what they counted as. Right now, I'm thinking Canoptek Wraiths from the 40K Necrons as a base. Anyone have any suggestions? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm trying to find appropriately-sized spiders, then I was going to mount Hexwraith legs on them and work from there. Alternatively I could use Grave Guard minis and have them "surfing" it like the original Necropolis Knights do. Spiders or scorpions would fit the venomous theme of the mount.
