Silverline Posted October 11, 2016 Share Posted October 11, 2016 Hi all, I'll be jumping back into the Warhammer hobby soon after a long stint, and I've slowly been narrowing down what I might want to play. Darkling Coven has made it onto the shortlist purely due to how utterly fantastic the current Dark Aelf plastics are, so I was wondering if anyone has any experience in playing them as a pure subfaction? I do think they are great executioners are just beast in combat and their battle line choices are very good. But I still think Id take dark elf stuff from other spots. Kramer Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Personally I think I Dreadspears are the best battleline available. I personally run them with exiles as back up. Meaning reaper bolt throwers and dark riders. They can work but I don't like the factions that much (not just Dark Elves) because they limit the choices to much.
