Endless Spells & Normal Spells

Hello,

I have a quick question - does casting an Endless Spell count towards your total spell casting amount per hero phase?

For example, a Wurrgog Prophet can cast 2 spells per (your) hero phase - therefore you could cast one Endless Spell and one "Normal" Spell for your available lores?

My understanding is that endless spells are summoned by casting a spell.

So, this would count towards the number of spells you can cast.
