Slaanesh invaders and Vendetta

I have a question. Hedonites of Slaanesh, in particular Invaders, can have up to three generals. This seems a little bit confusing for me when combined with Grand strategy: Vendetta which states "When the battle ends, you complete this grand strategy , if the model chosen to be your opponent's general has been slain and the model chosen to be your general has not been slain". So...my question is....does all invader generals (possibly all 3 of them) count toward this grand strategy or do I fail it if one of them dies?

You still only have 1 chosen general despite having multiple  generals in Invaders for slay the warlord. Same for Vendetta

So I need to choose which general out of 3 possible is going to count towards Vendetta ?

Yes, if that general is not a unique character, he gets a command trait
