Nagash summoning

Good day all,

I tried searching but was not able to find anything but I have a question regarding Nagash and his summoning in matched play.

He summons double the units. Does he pay double the cost in reserve points? Or is it that because it's a special ability he pays the reserve cost and gets the double free?

He pays, nothing to indicate it qualifies as a freebie.

If you summon two units or monsters, you pay for both.

If you summon 'normal' units, you have to cough up whatever points the double-sized unit would cost. (As some units are smaller than their GHB minimum size).

Thanks. That's kind of what I was afraid of. Just wanted to see what general consensus was.

I was listening to a podcast and they were debating which way it would work and whether that makes Nagash worth his 900 points.

His summoning effectively allows him to cast the same spell twice.
