Hi guys

 

My query is this: Is there anything that states the Banner Bearer and Musician cannot be the same model? I ask as I am building Mournfang Cavalry in units of 2, and it would be useful to be able to take the Skalg, and a Musician/Banner Bearer.

 

Can I have my cake and eat it too?

The option for the horn blower is for the model to become a horn blower, and the ability refers to the model rather than the equipment.

But for the banner, it simply says some models can carry banners, and the rules relate to the equipment. So RAW, you have a case as the two aren't mutually exclusive by the wording.

That said, I really doubt that's the intent and there is a high chance you will get slapped if you try this for real.

It's worthy of an FAQ as other units have a similar problem.

My personal reason for assuming it's a no - it's an AoS branded mini box, and you can't build a model with both those options without conversion work.
