Nico Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 You cannot multicast Gift of the Spider Filth any more, but I recall that they are the same cost anyway - so probably 3 wizards or maybe 2 wizards and one flinger (as the rule of one will stop you using up all 6 spells). I played against the 1,000 point version of this army and it was horrific. Worth reiterating that the formation only buffs the wound rolls and not the hit rolls (but the battleshock immunity is nice). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dez Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 I was thinking the same, the Flinger kinda stinks and they are the same points. May as well have some spell defense, throw out some more mortal wounds and add some shielding! This is a nice Deathstar/Wrecking ball, but I'm starting to worry about having all the eggs in one basket. You need to be in close to benefit from the aura buffs, and some of these units are really weak on their own.
