Getting started with Order (Mostly freeguild)

Hi all,

For Black Friday I found a great deal for the hammerhal boxed set, and added a few things to it to start a GA Order list.

The following will be what I have available

Heroes

1x general on griffon

1x mounted general

2x general on foot

1x lord castellant

1x battlemage

1x knight incantor

Troops

20x guard with halberd or sword

20x handgunners or crossbowmen (prefer handgunnners for the looks)

10x liberators

3x demigryph knights

Special

1x hurricanicum or luminark of hysh

 

In addition to this, I also have the original starter set for AoS 1.0 

Based on what I have, could anyone recommend a decent 1k list?

Certainly not a top tier list, but a fairly simple list you could build could look something like this:

Gives you a big centrepiece model, a bit of magic. You've got bodies on the field thanks to the Freeguild stuff. You've got a bit of speed in the Demigryphs and the General as well.

 

If you want to go magic heavy, you could run the following:

Rather than the Battlemage (which might be unnecessary), you could run a Mounted General also which will help out your Freeguild a little bit.
