Kyriakin
I have been trying this recently (with some Guileman Blue added), in order to represent the water visible though holes in ice/snow. However, it is causing me some issues. Basically, the pool looks great on Day 1, less so on Day 2 and from around Day 4 or 5 onward, the previously liquid-like surface luster changes to a dull, greasy look that looks nothing at all like a liquid (actually, with some white added instead it looks more like frosted ice). Is there a way to maintain the "wet" look, or does the product - as I have read from various sources - simply suck as a representation of large liquid areas (i.e. larger than narrow channels or crack-filling)? From waht I can see, most people seem to go for Woodlands Scenics. Edited November 14, 2018 by Kyriakin
Tommy
I guess you could try adding some gloss varnish on top? But if people are saying it’s not great for larger wet areas there’s probably a reason for that...
