TheBlackHood157
I am trying to create a unit of chainraps. My idea is to take some plague monks and replace the heads and weapons with some old tomb kings parts i found from a while ago. my questions are: 1. Are the two models about the same size? 2. Are the bases the same? 3. What other conversions have been made with making nighthaunt units?
MrTref
1. Yeah they are about same size, but monks looks a bit burly. 2. As you can see from GW FAQ abou bases both chainrasp and plague monks hav 25mm bases. 3. Here is some of my ideas: - replace glaivewrath glaves with stormvermins weapon - replace chainrasp hooded heads with helmet heads from skeleton infantry and add some shields (it maks the looking more like ex penal legion then common prisoners) - replace grimghastreapers skeletal heads with masks made from stormcast heads - swap cairn wrath csytche with one from hexwraith and maybe add braizer at his back Also I really nead some conversion idea for bladegheists
TheBlackHood157
Wow, those ideas are awesome! inever would have thought of any of those... With bladegheist, i have a few ideas: Replace the heads with khorne bloodreaver or beastmen heads. Use hormagant models with differnet heads, cloaks, and a sword(the hormagants may look better as dreadscythe harridans) Swap out the weapons for nurgle parts(plague bearers, lord of plagues, lord of blights, and such)
AnUncommonCulture
I’m converting my Nighthaunt into a Japanese themed army. It’s my first foray into Age of Sigmar, and I loved the Nighthaunt faction but wanted to make it really my own, and growing up in Japan gave me the inspiration. Right now I haven’t painted, but I’m deep into sculpting. Here are some works in progress!
