Tittliewinks22
The realm of Shadows has 3 range reducing effects. The description is "The maximum range for attacks and spells is X inches" X can be 6, 12, or 18 depending on your d6 roll. How does this affect the setup of endless spells? Spell Portal for example says "setup wholly within 12in and then set up second one wholly within 18in" It also says in realm of Shadows you can setup the second portal anywhere on the battlefield instead. Is the first setup the only one limited to the range restriction of the realm? Are both? Are neither? -------------- We just played a game and had max range for attacks and spells be 6" and had no idea how we were supposed to setup the spell portal endless spell. Thank you. InvalidUsername
The answer is to do whatever you want. It's a narrative rule, it doesn't matter what it 'actually' is. Figure out whatever the fairest interpretation is for the game you're playing, and go with that.
