Overread
So I've taken the basic theory and done a scripted 30VS30 of Witch Aelves VS Deamonettes for both duel blades and bucklers. The results are very interesting to say the least! For all the maths and such see: (And please please do say if I've made any mistakes if you spot them). Note scroll to the bottom of that page if you just want the conclusions from the test. https://warminiatures.wordpress.com/2018/10/20/dice-theory-witch-aelves-vs-deamonettes/ In summary, it shows that Witches with duel daggers are only better if they can make the initial charge and get the first attack. Otherwise witches with bucklers are all round superior. It also shows that the +1 attack that you get being within 8 inches of a hero is a very powerful bonus and can certainly change the results of fights. The basic thing to walk away with, against models with high attacks and low save at least, is: Bucklers is the best choice all round Duel Daggers is the best on offence Keep your heroes close - they WILL make a difference even if they don't cast a single spell/prayer
