There are lots of ways to convert great pestigors. Many have had success kitbashing plaguebearers with gor, and I’ve seen some great blightking-based pestigor - look at the work of @Mr_Whateley on Twitter for example. Here’s a wip unit shot of my Nurgle marauders which include a few pestigor - they’re a bit rough as it was the early days of me (re)learning to convert, but they might offer some ideas.
