Bonesplitters comeback

Hey everyone. I'm coming back into AoS after a short hiatus. Was too busy with commission work, 40k and life in general. I've picked up some secondhand bonesplitters though and am looking to use them for my main army. 

 

I've been doing research on what units work and what don't, but seems like there is alot of mixed opinions.

 

So far I've got 10 unbuilt savage orruks.

20 Morboys, 20 Savage orruks, 1 big stabba unit, 10 boarboys (unbuilt) and a Orruk on wyvren. I was thinking of making the 10 boar boys into 2 maniak squads, and the unbuilt orruks into more Morboys.

 

Any guidance on list building would be great, especially for 1k and 1500 point. Games.

Hey Coganaut - welcome back to the Waaagghhh! 

Definitely check out all the discussion on the GHB2017 Bonesplitterz thread - loads of ideas floating around there from BS players. 

The list looks very cool in my view - perhaps you could think of adding some big stabbaz for that rend/damage output against big monsters?

I've got the one squad. Sure I can pick up a second without much trouble. 

I feel like I want the savage bigboss and more shooting but that could be the noob in me coming out.
