Need to go full in on this idea. Going to grab the paintbrush and start adding some lovely Anvilgard colors to my Aelves. Currently they are just painting in a box art color scheme, which is just no fun. Wish I had a steady enough hand and enough artistic talent to draw the Anvilgard logo on a banner bearer. Either way pictures will be incoming soon!

Not gonna lie that little bit there has me really interested in staying Anvilgard! It’s a very, “we’re shady pirates, but still good guys”. already have a full on “bad guy” army with my tzeentch. Sk keeping the good guy vibe would be nice. Thank you all for you help and encouragement. As always this forums and the people on it are some of the best on the internet. ♥️

Thanks! This is honestly way more helpful thank one might think. I wasn’t even aware of Misthaven to be completely honest. Still need broken realms. However I was very unsure on if I needed it... I guess my narrative side heard that anvilgard was destroyed so in my head it’s no longer useable... *shrug* I will definitely check it out! Thanks! Scourge Privateers were always my favorite. Pirate evil Aelfs just has a nice vibe to it.

Happy holidays everyone! I finally put some finishing touches on a army I was working on, but as I reached completion I realized that I had no real goal here. Other than painting cool minis I didn’t really plan for an army. So looking to you fine wonderful folks for some help. Here is what I currently have, 1x Dreadlord on black dragon 2x Black Arc Fleetmaster 40x Corsairs 20x Darkshards 10x Black Guard 2x Chariots 5x Dark Riders 1x Hydra 1x Kharydis I was looking into Anvilgard recently but now, if I’m understanding correctly, they have been replaced by some other city? I was going to expand with some other races be it stormcast, duardin, or something different. Should I wait before expanding and see what else come from broken realms? Just really hopeful I can make some kind of list out of all this.

Hello guys, long time rage quiter, first time admitter . Beginning of last year I got a bit upset with age of sigmar and how my local community shunned it. I sold all my books and armies. *test runs down cheek* I’m now seeing what a big mistake I made. The ever evolving and amazing story of AoS just keeps getting better. So here I am trying to get all my old books again (realm gate wars), and all the new narrative and campaign focused books. Broken Realms is really appealing to me and it’s convinced me to buy Dark Elves. Though nothing will ever replace my Duardin I sold... *commence uncontrollable sobbing*

So I'm the type of person that never goes 3rd party. Howeber when I added up my 2 battline units of acolytes I couldn't agree to it. As mentioned alot of folks are doing a conversion with bits from wlc and Dommwheeel plus some plague monks. This didnt cut it for me, as it's still quite expensive to acquire enough. Here is my suggestion, go 3rd party and save yourself money and frustration. The photo included is a 3rd party miniature made by windmaster-miniatures. They are called Clan Raitz Priests. I did add a separate head on the single mini, from the wlc kit just for a cool look. I want to say I paid around 60-70$ for 24 minis

Hey folks, I did a search and didn't see the answer already. I wanted to clarify before i play my first game with the new rats this weekend. First- can you only send a unit through your gnawhole 1 time a turn? Just the wording makes me feel that's the case but wanted to be sure. Second - am I reading correctly that the warpfire projectors for stormfiends are different then Thanquol, letting you on roll 1 dice per model in 8 inches, even though they technically have 2?

Don't have a great camera like some of you outstanding folks, however here is my first character for my chaos warband. Volthus Eidolon always knew he was the best of all his brothers. He took great pride in the fact that he was the youngest of his father's 4 children, but the best when it came to sportsmanship. Needless to say when the age of chaos consumed Hysh Volthus took great pleasure in betraying his family and cutting them down all in the name of a newly found dark God. With his blade thrusting through his fathers heart Volthus took the title of King of Luminos Spire and threw his people down the path of pleasure and excess. Families that stood against the new king had their skin flayed from their bodies, kept alive by magic to prolong their suffering. Volthus ruled from his golden tower on a throne of flayed flesh. Attacks on the surrounding Aelf population was guided by greater demons of excess, and their lesser minions. His actions have now drawn the attention of the everchosen, which has set him on his pleasurebound call to greatness.
