Nubgan
Hey guys, I am interested in finding out about the Waystone Pathfinder Formation. I don't need to know the composition (I love all Wanderer Units) or the points. But I want to know what the special rule entails and whether its worth me rebasing all my Elves for AoS. Any help you guys can provide will probably rescue my beloved pointy ears from a box and probably mean I end up getting some Giant Beetle love instead of some Bloodbound. Andreas
You can ambush the entire formation and they all get to shoot in the hero phase against a unit that get to close to your Nomad Prince. Seems quite strong I have to say.
Nick907
Yeah that Battalion is strong with shooting and evasiveness. Especially if you give your general the alliance ability 'stalker of hidden paths' Then you can put your archers where ever you want them and tear up targets. If you put you general within 12" (and the rest of your army within shooting range) of a juice enemy unit... you can shoot it in your shooting phase, win the turn roll-off and go twice in a row, and then shoot it in your Hero phase and again in your shooting phase... all before the unit has even had a chance to move or react. GM_Monkey
Myst Walker is better otherwise it's too easy to lose your Nomad prince and the hero shooting ability.
