I'm new to AoS and have a question on bases. I played Fantasy and most of my minis are on the old square bases. I know I dont have to change them and I probably wont, too much effort. My question is what are the rules for unit positioning now that ranking up is no longer a thing? I cant find anything in the rules about it. Do minis have to be within 1" of each other? Can I still rank them and use movement trays if I like how it looks? Or can the models not be touching? Any insights from the community would be helpful. Thanks.
