decker_cky
I think there's definitely some game treating brayherd as a summoning army supported by ambush (basically, summon a daemon army starting around the herdstone). Take a bunch of few chariots to come from the flanks and hunt support characters, and otherwise just build the army you need around the objectives for the game. Not the list I really want to be playing, but there's definitely value to it. I also noticed that although the herdstone has a putrid short ranged effect (3"), the stone itself can generally be placed quite aggressively (some point of it must be within 6" of the general). This means you should generally have +1 bravery and an available +1 to hit around a key objective. It's still a downgrade overall, but there's some options. Beastmen are definitely better allies than they are a core army. It's just like 6th edition!
ncshooter426
So... if I'm reading this, going pure beastmen is no longer really a good idea?
