Does the Changeling's set-up trigger the Gryph Hound's warning cry?

Hey all, I have a rules query I was hoping to get some help with. 

If the Changeling sets up within 10 inches of a gryph hound, does the gryph hound's warning cry trigger? Or does the Changeling elude the Gryph Hound? I would be inclined to say the Changeling does not trigger the warning cry because it is treated as a part of host army until it is revealed. But the next question would be, once it is revealed, does it trigger the warning cry? I would appreciate any thoughts on this; thanks in advance.

My expectations:

1. Setting up the Changeling doesn't trigger the Warning Cry because, as you point out, it is treated as part of your opponent's army.

2. Revealing the Changeling cannot trigger the Warning Cry because the model is not being set up at that time.

You treat the Changeling as a friendly model so he would not activate the gryph hound ability. When he is revealed he is not being set up so again the ability would not activate.
