  1. I wanted to write GW an email, for input on the next ghb, I think I will give them some info regarding the warbosses. How important they are for orruks. Maybe they will fuse his models into ironjawz and the rouge idol to bonesplitterz.
  2. What are your thoughts on a substitute for the orruk warboss? All greenskinz boxes are no longer sold on GW website. In the worst case scenario the warboss will leave us. I will miss my banner and wyvern, but especially his command ability.
  3. I'm think this may happen since the models are no longer manufactured. The poison wind mortar will probably cycle out when the new handbook drops. If we don't get a book, I don't see anything from the dwarf faction(not dispossessed, they also can't be allies)will go away.
  4. Dispossessed at the moment is no easy army and a player who got in the top ten of dancing with them said that alot of his wins were due to opponents not knowing what they are capable of. He also used a celestant prime for added mobility and used the pickaxe for ironbreakers which results in a teleporting unmovable line of armored cursing beards. I really want to try somethings to make dispossessed more viable for objective games. Some of my ideas got crushed, like using the cogs(dwarfs ignore the buff on a 5+). After my dwarfs are on their new bases I want to try grand alliance order with a hurricanum and helstorm batteries. With that my dwarfs can concentrate on advancing while they get long-range support. I also want to try endriggers because they seem to fill exactly the niche I'm looking for. If our battalion had lower requirements we could really go out, I think.
  5. The smiter got increased to 120 pts which doesn't fit in that nicely anymore especially with the now 100 pt cost for runelords. As allies I had death, ironjawz with this exact army but my warriors (with 6+ save after save from runelords) and berserkers were tanking quite well. I also used a block of 30 quarrelers which did hold out along time and did a lot of damage. Dealing damage with dispossessed is no problem, if you get the positioning right. All our ranged units are good and can get extra rend. One game evening at my local GW we played a 3v3 match and I singlehandedly killed gordrak, 3 goregruntas and half an ardboy unit. While tanking them myself. I had to leave early so I couldn't destroy my other opponents units. Dispossessed is all about positioning and planning ahead just like chess. You need to tarpit your opponent and "tickle"(can substitute for shred) him with rend -1 to -3. You are playing against nighthaunt? No problem just use the defensive rune and a Volley of 60 shots will do the deal.
  6. For games with killing as the objective I did really well against death, ironjawz and sylvaneth. Most of my matches were 2v2 so that might not count but we do pack a heavy punch. As for objective games I won some games but only with the ghb2017 where you could use the pickaxe + 80 pt runesmiter and vulkite berserkers. We just lack the mobility and a way to get around our opponent but I want to try a list with cannons. So I can hold my objectives and still pressure my opponent. For moving objectives or ones which appear later in the game(not when they appear in our lines) I was never able to win and don't know how without using grand alliance order. I want to test some mobile allies to see if I can counter that somehow, but that will have to wait for after my dwarfen are rebase to round bases.
  7. I didn't use them in a dispossessed army since they can't be allies. I'm mainly using them as warriors (I just put a shield on their back). They seem really good, maybe one-day GW brings their plastic kit back and gives them the dispossessed keyword. This would be a huge boost to our mobility.
  8. Nice to see someone returning with their dwarf force. Your goblin hewer can be used as a organ gun, you can look older models up in the compendium for dwarfs. For me quarrelers are always better than thunderers in blocks of 30. I really like their melee weapons as well, since you can punch back with 4+ 4+ -1( with runelord) attacks. If you are thinking of a unit of 10 I'd always go for thunderers. With a unit of 20 thunderers I always think about using 10 irondrakes instead an have some spare points. Yeah you got less wounds but the gun of the champion is really worth it (he nearly killed gordrak alone).
  9. You could also add the gloomspite cauldron endless spell with that and the vortex a fungoid shaman is a mortal wound machine or a debuff machine and the more spells the higher the chance to get the ones you want through
  10. With 32 mm bases only some morboys will be able to attack and therefore alot less attacks, sadly.
  11. If an important hero can't keep up you can give him the aqshy artifact that gives him 4" extra move and flying. Sry I don't know what it is called in english
  12. I like the idea of endriggers as allies for movement and im thinking of using my long drong slayers to build some. I realy dont want to use stormcast as allies they just dont fit in in my eyes. 2 Cannons and an engineer is also realy nice you can realy pressure your opponent with them.
  13. I took out some plastic on the bottom frame of my cannons so I can exchange the heads. With that you can change it at will and try both the normal Cannon and organ gun
  14. @Charlo @Seraphage @Furuzzolo thank you for the advice and tipps. I took so many warriors to protect all of my damage, and have some blocks to contest points. I like the quarrelers more over irondrakes since they can hold their own in melee, but with all the protection irondrakes would probably be better.
  15. I'm currently building my duardin hurricanum and helstorm rocket batteries. I'd like to use them in a somewhat competitive list. I came up with this what do you think? **Allegiance: Order** **Leaders** **Celestial Hurricanum With Celestial Battlemage** (380) **Runelord** (100) **Warden King** (120) **Battleline** **40 x Warriors** (280) *-* *Axes or Hammers* **30 x Warriors** (240) *-* *Axes or Hammers* **20 x Warriors** (160) *-* *Axes or Hammers* **Units** **30 x Quarrellers** (360) **War Machines** **Helstorm Rocket Battery** (180) **Helstorm Rocket Battery** (180) **Total:** 2000 / 2000 **Extra Command Points:** 0 **Allies:** 0 / 400 **Wounds:** 149 I didn't think of artifacts and traits so far. Ofc all warriors will use two handed weapons with shields. Is it even worth it to go order for this? With this I got alot of range pressure and body's to protect it. I also thought about the crystal wall endless spell since the rockets don't need line of sight.
  16. Longboards don't get the runic icon which is a big minus for me with all the casters and endless spells. And I got better experience with 40 warriors since we ignore Battleschock halve the time. It also depends on your local meta, if there are no spell heavy armies then you don't need the runic icon.
  17. I'm currently building a dwarfen hurricanum from the old steam tank, the old anvil of doom, grudge ponys and some parts of the hurricanum itself. I also think it fits well. The storm of shemtek could be rune infused cannonballs and the spell a rune that brings forth the wrath of grungni or grimnir.
  18. Yeah that's what I am doing but I put the on after painting the miniature. There are some older models which can put on shields on their arms.
  19. Sadly Gryph-Hound's can now only be bought in packs (so more points) and they only work for stormcast now. There was another list of dispossessed that placed pretty high on a tournament. I think it was 7th place. Allegiance: Dispossessed Warden King (General, Grudgebearer) Warden King Runelord (Ancestral Pickaxe) Celestant-Prime (Ally) 10 Longbeards (Great Axes and Shields) 10 Longbeards (Great Axes and Shields) 40 Warriors (Runic Icon, Double-handed Axes and Shields) 30 Ironbreakers 20 Irondrakes You can use two handed weapons together with shields, both for warriors and longboards.
  20. So, what are your ideas regarding the new generals handbook? Gw asked the community and I wanted to write them an email anyway regarding other factions. I'd like them to change our runic icon to "can roll to ignore spells on 5+". At the moment our opponent can use chromatic cogs and we sometimes don't even get the extra move and charge range. Regarding cogs in dispossessed Id like for all free city factions to gain the collegiate arcane as allies. A hurricanum, luminark or battlemages would really help out most factions (even fits in lorewise with endless spells everywhere and them lending a hand). We could gain a hurricanum or battlemage + cogs from it to counter our low speed a little. If possible it would be nice for them to tweak our allegiance abilities a bit for more mobility. In another forum someone thought ofremoving the pickaxe and giving all heroes the once per battle ability. There is also the option to give us tunnel exits/entrances like the gravesites from death. The pickaxe (and miners, if they ever come back) adding new ones. I also thought of some ways to balance this huge mobility increase. In kill point matches I do really well with my dwarfs but I struggle regarding objectives and some point drops won't really change that sadly. Do you also have anything that would help? If we propose our ideas to GW maybe something will change.
  21. After comparing the rogue idol and troggoth hag changes directly compared to the old ones I'm really not fond of the changes. Troggoth hag only got nerfs and went up 20 pts to 380 and the rogue idol got some changes that bring more consistency ( no more 2d6 move and attacks) but besides that only nerfs for the same point cost -.-
  22. https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-PL/Downloads You can find the new ones here
  23. The new point values and stats for forgeworld models is out. I like the changes so far
  24. I really hope forgeworld isn't pushing the rogue idol over the 400 pts mark , since it's buffing casting and it now being more relevant. Have you guys thought about a troggoth hag? Yes she is not fully ideal since she won't die easy for the morboys, but she got a very good spell ( pretty much rend for everyone on 1 unit) and her damage output is also nice. Her tankines is also a upside, she heals d6 and your opponent gets 1 to hit in combat on her. And in the new casting meta she can damage mages with unbinds. I realy hope she doesn't get more expensive aswell. I think if your army needs some extra punch she is a great addition.
