Aventis Firestrike is amazing. I love the Tauralon's head, idk why but I love it.

I will definitely do a Grand Alliance : Order army, with the Hammerhal allegiance, for him to command ! (good side view too)

Loving the Tauralon, hating the ape-faced Dracoline.

Very tame rules for both, though.

I predict we're only going to get rules for 4 Stormhosts: Hammers of Sigmar, Anvils of the Heldenhammer, Celestial Vindicators, and Hallowed Knights. Those were the 4 shown in the Core Book.

As far as list building goes, I'm going to start the new edition with a Sacrosanct + Stardrake army. Stardrakes being able to add or subtract 1 from every wizard near them is exactly what the new meta will need. I like the look of a big blob of Sequitors buffed by an Arcanum and Evocators to reroll hits, wounds, and saves in the combat phase.

And I hope you are wrong.

How many players have painted their army as Astral Templars, Tempest Lords, Knights Excelsior or Celestial Warbringers? They deserve to have rules as much as the other 4.

  3. I think each Stormhost will keep it's main special rule and lose some of the others. It's logical that a free "enclave" will give less benefits than a expensive battalion.

I hope we get all of the ones in the previous Battletome, as I can't put my finger on one of them being less iconic or liked.

Just because she's better than Vandus Hammerhand (who is horribly overcosted) doesn't mean she's undercosted. She does a lot of cool stuff, yes, but she is also 40 points per wound with unremarkable defense. 40 points per wound is awful

She also makes the Celestant Prime at 360 even more of a joke.

In the current system, you are encouraged to refrain charging two deathstars at the same time because one of your units will get butchered, which is kinda counter intuitive.

It didn't destroy 40k because of the sole presence of the associated stratagem (which i think will come here too) which allow you to steal the combat initiative between two charging units.

The stratagem can only be used once per turn. The rest of the time you have to deal with it. It's like the reverse situation: instead of a single charge per turn, a single non-crippled defensive unit per turn.

As already said before, AoS and it's warscrolls were built upon alternate activation, and chargers go first would mess with those foundations. Furthermore, alternate activation is one of the things people like more about AoS. Why change it?

Pd. Let's listen to the mods and leave it there.
