Lore wise akhelians are too important to be foot soldiers and they are bonded with sea creatures. Also I dont see how slow heavy infantry would suit in their playstyle. I can see them making more tanky thralls like those from recent WU warband.

To be fair what IDK lacks? They have small roster but it looks fairly complete. Just rule wise they could give them adjustments so they dont depend on high tide too much. Dont get me wrong I would like see more units and there is a lot of design space but some armies need update or new kits more then them.

We dont know. My excpetations are low, maybe they wont even be in this book. Story wise it make sense Sylvaneths get something in next but we dont have any confirmations yet.

Aos rules usually drop week before release at site and later in app. Preorder week are rules for their "main" game, Warcry or Underworlds.

No, they are releasing only s5/6 warbands now. I doubt Wurmspat is coming in this form but maybe they will reuse their models in future.

I think they are saving them for New year preview and they will just ignore sprue leak. Dawbringer book 3 should be next in line for AoS if roadmap is still correct.

Btw I just found out we are getting few updates to ranges that were introuduced for the first time in Underworlds season 3 (Beastgrave). Wolf riders (Rippa snarlfangs), orruk weirdboyz (Morgok Krushas), Kurnothi (Skaeth wild hunt), new ghouls (Grymwatch). So maybe that is rough timeline for testing waters with new models and then actually producing them for AoS range. (4 years)

We know Sylvaneths (Kurnothi) are coming but lack of emojis we are getting from WF is disturbing. I really hope they are in next book 🤔

I am really expecting Underworlds core box after 2 week of Space Marines. It will be just a day difference then last year when they released Gnarlwood at that time. They have been consistent with new Underworlds core boxes to last 6 months and it make sense to put something less atractive for wider audience after those big weeks.
