I was also thinking what if 3.0 came with a points hike for all armies
This was my thought until I read the DoK point drops

I also like that it's really thematic, because it encourages Slaanesh players to sadistically keep opponents alive and while killing them slowly over several turns.
Do we know the reach of their ranged attack? Althought even if it's 9", they have a threat range of, like, 24" or so easily.

Leaks for the mounted archers are out:
3 shots each, 3s, 4s -1 rend 1 damage, can run and shoot, mortal wounds on 6s to shoot, move 14, 4 wounds, 5+ save, 6 bravery

Seems the subfactions are still the same and fixed to the notion of Slaanesh's imprisonment. It does make me worry that people are correct in speculating that this is just the old Slaanesh rules with some beautiful new mortal models tossed in. The article does end with the promise of future info although it is likely to only focus on the new units.
Honestly it will suck if it’s just the same rules with some new warscrolls thrown in. Hopefully at the very least those new warscrolls can move Slaanesh away from the one boring build around summoning they have

Right now I am feeling the power creep probably more than ever, there is just a ton of unfun strats now that could be fixed with some core rule changes. Right now I think AoS could do with following the direction of 40K right now

Seems like a Ranger archer unit on foot and mounted, a Chaos Knight equivalent and a Slaangor kit

I’d like to add that I actually think that thing in the background is wrapped around a pillar

How do re rolls equate to more wounds?
You take the wound but ignore it, so essentially it is an extra wound, that is how I see it anyways

How do you count 12 wounds? I only count 8 reading the warscroll
When you take into account the shrugs saving wounds it basically adds up to more wounds overall, I was wrong however and misread the rules. You only get the shrug on the leader to it equals to 9-10 wounds with the shrug. Still don't think they're bad at all really

I have not seen many AoS memes at all, but I would love to! Drop your favourites and lets have fun!

The Underworlds warband are actually kinda great - Good damage profile, when you equate the law of average, they have 12 wounds, which makes them basically 10 points per wound which makes them fairly efficient! Very excited!

Why is this a credible source? I’m confused

I’m glad the Bonegrinder got an update but you’d never take him over Mancrushers or a secondary Mega, shame

Honestly, super disappointed with some of these rules, hopefully the actual allegiance abilities etc help

It's not a cheat sheet its an army list. Army lists should detail all the choices you've made in building your army. That means spells on models where there are optional spells; model equipment choices - everything.
A useful army list for yourself and your opponent might also note when you give a bonus, what the bonus is. Eg the Heart of Shiny Goodness +1 attack or such. Rather than just listing the name, that way it also helps act like a reminder for you.
Yeah this is what i mean, something a bit more than a typical army list that you usually have as army lists will usually just have the names of spells and stuff but not their casting costs and what they do etc. So just allowing for your opponent to always be knowing what exactly is going on and not just hearing names of stuff being spoken and having to 100% remember it all
-
I would actually be all for a basic cheat sheet being mandatory to give to your opponent on the basic stuff in your list like spells you have given, command traits etc and honestly its what I plan to do. I won't put the entire warscroll on them because at the end of the day it is up to them to learn what stuff does at a basic level but I will always answer questions they have on units

What makes this army uninteractive is the amount of things you either just do, or the abilities that this army has without dice rolling.
I honestly think I have been suckered in purely due to the aesthetic without even thinking through the consequences on the board as someone who only plays once a month. The army has slow play and yawnfest wrote all over it with all the extra stuff you have to remember, say, do each phase. Its probably what makes the army so uninteresting to play against.
I agree from what I’ve seen so far on there maybe being too much going on, you only need to look at all the warscrolls to see that. I’m playing against them soon so hopefully that will help me decide if it’s an army I want to play with friends or not

People only say that because of A: Teclis B: Sentinal Spam
And also they probably havent even played vs them yet. People are very vocal against new thingsIn fairness the main two people I’ve heard this from I sat and witnessed the games myself and the main problem was Teclis and the Sentinels, also the veil lady, forget her name. They felt the army was a tad uninteractive?

Do you guys think it’s a good time to start Lumineth or wait a little bit for FAQs and future point changes? I’ve seen a significant amount of people saying Lumineth aren’t a fun army to face, kinda scared my opponents won’t have fun, what have been your experiences so far with opponents?
-
How do you guys feel about the play experience of Lumineth so far? Myself and a couple friends have had a game or two against them and they honestly are kinda just super unfun to play against, they just seem to perhaps have a bit too much going on and so many ways to shut stuff down

Ok, can confirm the points are true, we got done dirty

Anyone considered a 6 man unit of Fiends? I think they could provide decent damage and also versatile with their different damage on the Stinger, also debuffing spell casting is great too
