    Hello folks and welcome to the Painting Contract for January 2022, the first contract of 2022! If you don't know the rules they are: Each month you post an amount of models that you agree to try to paint/build/convert/sculpt. This can be terrain or models for Age Of Sigmar, Warcry, Blood Bowl, Blitz Bowl, Dungeon Bowl, Warhammer Underworlds, Warhammer Quest, Gorechosen, or HeroQuest On the 28th of the month the contract closes and you can then post your progress images so that they can be critiqued, shared and boasted about.     So… last month was pretty hectic for me, but I managed to get some stuff built… and some partial painting on terrain.     Adjusting it for the larger cards would be key for standard use and as a replacement for the earlier projects.

    Unfortunately at least one user is reporting that the image controls aren’t as good as the ones available in the Hennirocks Warcry Card Creator 🤔

    Sometimes the things that inspire us aren’t what we had initially planned. It looks great! I say go with it and see where it turns out!

    Finished building the Orruck half of the dominion box. They assemble really well and had minimal mould line issues. Even with gluing they assembled without push apart problems or needing to cut the easy to build pins.

    Prime: Chaos Black Spray (all over) Green Walls: Zenithal Prime: (all over) Deathguard Green Spray Drybrush (all over) but mainly walls: Celestra Grey (this was a reasonably heavy drybrush) Drybrush: (Only the Edges) White Scar Metal Grating: Base Leadbelcher Paint all over metal: Typhus Corrosion Drybrush: Ryza Rust Weathered Bronze: Circlet was Warplock Bronze, agrax wash, drybrush lighter bronze color (probably scoriax bronze), Nihilak Oxide weathering, light re-drybrush of Bronze Wood: Wyldwood Contrast, Drybrush of tyrant skull

    Hobby Update: Catacombs Terrain hasn’t arrived. Death World Forest Venomgorse and Grappleweed Primed Added: Building terrain in the “box of broken things” at the local gaming club. Cleaned up and Reassembled the broken bits into serviceable terrain: - One large building ruin - One Sector Imperialis corner Ruin

    The gorehound (IE the old fleshhound Leader) was updated in the agents of chaos book, and no longer has the leader rune.

    P. 46 section on cover in the middle of the page. “If a fighter receives the benefit of cover when targeted by an attack action, add 1 to their Toughness characteristic for that attack action.”
