So what expected changes to BCR would fusing them with Gitbusters lead to, just in terms of increased options and play style?
-
The sepulchral stalkers and the Sphinx could both work painted in the same style as the morghasts right? I haven’t actually seen the models in person but I think they’d be cool.

Just got to looking through those rumor engines, and the tithes discussion on what this death army will be.
.... what if it's an expansion for a full, elite Morghast army?
That would be epic

No warcry for me. I just hesitated about it because I liked the decors (resell all but decors). But finally, no. Just no. I watched some reviews, tried to read between lines (you know, those youtubers can't say to GW "this product is bad" or they'll loose the preview with them) and the conclusion is that the system doesn't please to me. Too random. (especially with the critic damages on 6). I'll pass.
I'm not surprised that the box is out of stock. Same story all the time. The box is well loaded. But what will I do with it? Plays the game? (for me, it is just NO). Reuse the units in other games? (for me NO, they are not good and don't give much and you don't know the plan of GW selling them alone to make full units AoS). Reuse the decors? That was my main question: for AoS: maybe, but most of decors fits weird with actual ones. Finaly, I prefer investing in full decors like the recents ones dominions of sigmar (that are really versatile)
This is the rumor thread tho

The Sylvaneth Battletome also implies some aspect of Kurnoth still lives in.

Those few I’d attempt to guess:
- Hallowed Knights: Gardus Steelsoul would have to be the one for the job. My favorite Stormcast and an epic character.
- Hammers of Sigmar: Vandus Hammerhand is another obvious and appropriate pick I think.
- Knights Excelsior: Cerrus Sentanus, or the White Reaper. Perfectly represents the direction the Knights Excelsior are going, and stands as a testament to the variation in Stormcast.

Have been reading a fair few Stormcast novels (particularly Josh Reynolds excellent work) and am really interested in the idea of the Lord Commanders.
The fact that they haven’t been decided upon already leaves so much room for lore development and hopefully future model releases.
So who do people think will be potential Lord Commanders and where do they see these developments going?

Soulblight/Legion of Blood could work for you.
Soulblight you can field 1000 points pretty easily. Start collecting Flesh Eater Courts gives you Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon and 3 Vargheists. Then get two boxes of the Aelf Dragon Blades to convert into Bloodknights. I’d personally then get the death upgrade kit and order some third party vampire heads. All of that will cost you around the same price as two start collecting kits, less if you try eBay or other sellers.

I’d imagine Azyrite iconography would work as they’re all part of that collective.
A twin tailed comet, eagle heads and lightning stuff.

I'm wondering if I missed this, but is the book for Forbidden Power going to be available to purchase digitally in the app?
Interested in this as well.
If not, does anyone know where I can find a summary of the lore in the book?

That’s an epiccc intro for a model haha

I have a different opinion on what's happening. Mostly because I think not everything has to be about Sigmar.
The voice mentioned that Nagash has been gathering an army, which I presume is Deathrattle. This leads me to believe that the Gutbusters had a Pact of Bones with Nagash, where they would eat the meat of their victims but not the bones which were given to Nagash to be turned into Deathrattle.
Nagash violates the pact somehow and the Gutstuffers want the Tithe of Bones they have been paying back, starting the titled Feast of Bones where they invade the Deathrattle army that Nagash has been building with their bones.
It might also be the start of the reason why Destruction Armies can't ally with Death armies in multiplayer games(like how Order can never ally with Chaos).
Awesome take, hadn’t even considered that. Sounds much better than my idea really haha.

Drachenfels ain't calling anyone master, least of all Nagash, so rule him out (there's even a solid argument that he is AoS Nagash)
If it's gotta be a WFB character, he's nobody's favourite, but has anyone thrown Deither Helsnicht's hat in the ring yet? The thing Sigmar sealed in the vault was a horrible unkillable tentacled monster, saturated in death magic, and that's pretty much what Helsnicht was when he was installed as guardian of the underworld the end of End Times: Nagash, and he hasn't been seen since. 🤷♂️
I’m unfamiliar with the character, why would Nagash be him?

Best case scenario for Ogors is they get the Gloomspite treatment, combine them into one book but then expand each with new kits. Plastic Butcher, Hunter, Yhetees and Frost Sabre’s, then expand Firebellies and Maneaters with more units.
Thats best case and probably unlikely, but one can dream.

Assuming Pact, Feast and Tithe of Bones are all linked together, I think we can piece some stuff together.
The Mawtribes entered into a “Pact of Bones” with someone. Recently, that pact was broken. As a result the Mawtribes are engaging in the Feast of Bones while a recently freed individual who presumably serves Nagash is conducting a Tithe of Bones.
Working of that, id say it’s safe to assume that the Mawtribes entered a pact with Sigmar to trap Nagash’s ally, the recently free Mortarch. Since that Mortarch was freed, the Ogors march to war, rallying together to battle this Death character, who in the meantime is out collecting Bones.
Going out on a limb, I wonder if the Ogors agreed to shatter their tribes or not marshal together a great force in return for Sigmar getting rid of their Death for.

It's in this thread somewhere, IIRC the gist of it was reworked "Tomb Kings" with constructs, heavy ranged focus, ect.
I didn't put much stuck in the rumor by itself but I remember that same week both of the Warhammer Weekly guys saying the rumor was legit, Tomb Kings are coming back in some form, ect.
Yeah that’s similar to my response iirc.
I’m hoping they’re more tomb king in theme than in practice, though I’m happy with any new death

I think each GA could handle multiple expansions, especially now we have consolidated some factions.
Order
- Stormcast
- Fyreslayers
- Sylvaneth
- Seraphon
- Kharadron Overlords
- Daughters of Khaine
- Cities of Sigmar
Chaos
- Blades of Khorne
- Disciples of Tzeentch
- Hedonites of Slaanesh
- Maggotkin of Nurgle
- Skaven
- Slaves to Darkness (assumed they’re combined)
Death
- Legions of Nagash
- Nighthaunt
- Flesheater Courts
Destruction
- Orruk Warclans
- Gloomspite Gitz
- Ogor Mawtribes (assumed they’re combined)
Thats ties off all the existing ranges and leaves huge room for expansion. Even adding 5 factions still only equals the 40K codex range.

Can we take complaining about our factions not getting stuff out of the rumor thread? We’ve finally got rumors and teases to discuss.
With that in mind, is there a summary of that rumor about the new death faction being constructs?

I’m hoping it’s a new skeletal death faction that incorporates constructs. Should have the old skeleton units available and then builds on that base (think the Nighthaunt release).

There weren’t any BCR stuff shown in the trailer, do we think they’re being combined?
-
YES!!!! This has me so excited. I own 2000 points of Beastclaw Raiders and if they’re combined in one tome I’d be willing to drop money on at least another 2000.
-
I wonder if the semantics of “New” Battletome means we could still get updated battletomes.

So if the Kurnothi are a soon to be faction, and they were combined with Wanderers, what out of the Wanderers would stay?
That would serve as a solid base for expansion.
I’d like to see:
