    I‘m very tempted to go all in with the Bloodwrack Medusa and make her general with Arcane Master, but the Rally trait feels too important to be left out. Hm, any thoughts?

    Points are tough if going Morathi, and atm I think you have a lot in heroes where in Cobra Kai you actually want more snakes. Could ditch the medusa and just have the cauldron then have Battleline plus 1 for 2 drops. 

    Tbh? I think MSU snakes is the way to go. Have the 10 of Stalkers still for the CA, but maybe for the sisters go units of 5

    Id also ditch the WE for more Sisters as WE get no bonus in Cobra kai

    Finally, I think 2x5 Heartrenders is kinda an auto include as its 2 Easy Battletactics (Savage spearhead and Cruel Delight

  2. Two hobby projects I am working on atm.

    1st is converted Morgwaeth and the SOS from her box set into a High Gladiatrix (as didnt wanna buy the box set or ebay prices. I have put some green stuff to make a band on the arm join also. WE will be used on 2nd project)

    2nd is making my centerpiece cauldron of blood using 3d print, Cauldron kit and new avatar. THis is the start of it (body just resting atm for show. Updated with crew just for idea. Nothing greenstuffed on body yet)

    yeah high rend means nothing so its about volume of attacks and yes, finishing off units. 

    Cobra Kai/Blood sisters should do well with 3 attacks each plus the MW attack, then attack on death

    WE/SOS also will do with volume of attacks

    SInce you cannot pin them down (unless can really pin them with volume of bodies) as retreat and charge means they will keep cycle charging

    Target heroes is good. My gitz had no shooting but a lot of the heroes only have 7W with a 4=/4++ so can be focused down 

  4. Night Haunt are going to hit the Meta hard. DOK will probably be in the same place, but after playing Nighthaunt last night (with Gitz I might add) they can really bring a lot to the table.

    Their MW output is pretty low, but its the:

    Retreat and charge

    You can't take Inspiring presence in combat with them

    The charge debuffs stack. 4 heroes charged Kragnos and he ended up with -2 Rend, -1 to hit and strike last. They took 17W off him and killed him

    Spell debuff to help them wound you/AS/you to wound them

    Ressing models back in combat

    Ethereal is tough on a 4+, especially when able to give 2 units a 5++

    Emerald host (which you will see alot) being able to do D3 MW to D3 of your heroes at the end of every batleround.

    Many teleports

    Shooting meta will stuck VS them 

    High rend means nothing.

    I really like them lol. But prepare for them as you will see them doing well

    Heartrenders is an easy battle tactic I guess. I am looking at squeezing them in my Haggnar list just for that as you can do that one turn and savage spearhead the next

  6. After 1st game and playing 15 Bloodsisters I think its too much in one basket. Though Mine killed stuff (360pts) they got shot off mostly. All died in a turn 1 double to KB so couldn't even bring them back with the rally.

  9. Only buffs from melusi are in your combat phase, witch brew, Sacrament and hagg nar buffs are in both. 

    So turn 2 you can have a 5++ in enemy turn on a unit 

    Zealous orator makes up for losing hagg nar 5++. Regroup on 4+ on any unit is solid

  10.  Avatars are Solid for 155. 3+ with cauldron and now a 5++ and don't need baby sitting with waking them up. Support shooting attack adds up and good punch in combat with rites buffing them

    Turn 3 haggnar can have key units be 2+/2+ with 5++

    Cobra kai great for snake lists. Don't have to run medusa general if you wanna do cauldron then just snakes and the mw output and attack on death is good

    I wonder - do we have ANY bonuses to casting in book now?  Rerolls, bonus artefacts, etc?  Since it sounds like Morathi is no longer +1...

    I know Doomfires previously had a +1 to cast, but the Lore for the book being limited to DoK heroes kindof kept them from anything good...

    Doomfires can have +1 if 5 or more

    Shadowstone is still +1

    I was asking about the Medusa Shrine, not the priest cauldrons. Appreciate the info though.

    Oh they are pretty much the same I think. Only difference I saw was whisper claw is 3+/3+ and no MW on 6's

    not once per game, just limited to 18"

    HQ Cauldron: Lost both its prayers, new prayer does d3 MW to a unit in 3". Gains +1 prayers and D3 damage on HQ attacks. 

    Sq cauldron: Lost Deathsword but gained D3 as above on other profile. Gained a prayer that gives it Strike 1st till your next turn. Orgy of slaughter now 18" (As totem) 

    Both dont bracket till 7W taken

    Just the hero themselves. But thats still 6 3+/3+ -1 D3 before Rites buffs and other things 

    We also have a trait that lets the person attack again at the end of the turn (and would be whole model)

  15. From what I saw no changes in MR. Pit of shades went to a 6 and only other spell change was Mirror Dance

    Morathi losing +1 to cast is fine as she kept her command ability and now doesnt bracket till 7W, So effective for longer. For 680 shes still a solid piece 

    The DOk heroic action gives +2 attacks to non monster hero

    We also have a Command ability that basically is catachism

    Prayers stayed the same so you do have a immune to battle shock one.

    GW seem to be  moving away from stuff that gives immune to BS. Skaven just lost it on the new screaming bell warscroll also. Plus, we got an item that stops rally/Inspiring which is awesome.

    The new book is good. It might not be bent or S+ but its defiantly solid

    We can give multiple units +1 to rites or pile them all on one and go nuts (Haggnar can give max buffs turn 1)  Hell by turn 3 we can have multiple units maxed out

    yeah, we lost some things, but gained more

    Heartrenders, Blood Sisters, Witch Alves and Avatars came out stronger imo. Cauldrons got prayers tweeked, give own +1 to prayers and attack profile now D3 not 1 W. SQ lost deathsword)

    the rest is still solid. Bar Lifetakers, ever unit can make my lists, and the Subfactions may have lost some of their ompf but you can now pick and Command trait and artifact which is a good trade imo. Crown of Woe and Rally on 4+, ****** yes. 

    The fact Morathi and the bowsnakes hasnt been nerfed is good for some people, but that list isnt the best and now we have a lot of options (Inc all Aevles, Stormcast and COS can ally with us) means we have a wealth of options.

    Interesting more is the other bonuses. Khelibron with Shadowstalker battle line can have a huge about of movement shinnaigans now

    Draichi with extra reinforcements means we can bring bigger units to play

    Hagg Nar with "free" Cauldron, ****** yes 2 Cauldrons and 3 avatars.

    Its going to be a lot of fun
