Everyone forgets nobody bought or played Tomb Kings. The only reason people all the sudden like them now is because they have loose compendium rules that were written before GHB and they got good abilities.
Ehh. They have a really enjoyable aesthetic and cool fluff. There were plenty of players prior to their squatting and it isn't very easy to find a whole army on ebay years after they stopped being up for sale.

They aren't bringing back tomb kings something for death i'm sure, but they're looking forward, not backward.
Not "Tomb Kings", but something that falls under Settra is a strong possibility.

Does not look like a glove to me at all.

You just saved me almost a full day of F5 pounding! I'll probably still do it though...

My cohost for Warhammer Weekly will be at the Adepticon event this evening and we'll do our weekly show immediately after he gets out of the event. I doubt they'll allow cameras but I've told him to take copious notes.
What time does the event start?

1. My current dark elves might look stupid compared to the new stuff and/or wont go together either aesthetically or fluff wise.
2. The new stuff will be so good I will want to start a new army with it anyway, and I could do with starting something completely new and non skinny and pointy (My head had been turned by the Kharadron Overlords)
It will be #2. You know this to be true.

I'm hoping whatever this is that it is at Adepticon.
Since there is no twitch today we'll have to refresh browsers all day to catch internet postings. My F5 button is nearly worn out!

Oh I haven't seen this posted either, but apparently the new starter set is going to be $85 with fold out mat and 'hill'.
It's the same models as the current starter minus Dracoth and a khorne character or two.

I've given this feedback already for GHB2. Many of the "X is battleline with Y allegiance" should instead be "X is battleline when a Y hero is your general". This makes many of these units infinitely more usable since battleline status could be keyed towards generals rather than entire forces.
Then you'd break the whole system. Take the best hero and battleline and then anything else you want without restriction. Anyway this isn't much of a discussion for the rumor thread.

The twitch channel might be showing stuff at the same time, but i'm not certain.

They'll need something significant to become competitive, especially if they don't do anything to address the warscrolls' innate lack of Rend or MW output in addition to mobility. Khorne are in competitive lists now only by the grace of Sayl and Warp Lightning Cannons.
I expect battalions and artefacts to fill the gap a bit. There is also the potential for a points decrease.

This battletome will be incredibly interesting as it may indicatell how GW will balance an army with no real ranged options.

That goes just a tad too far for live action.
Good thing it's photoshopped.

Also we might see the new deep/chtulu elves at adepticon.
Via Hastings.
I don't think Dark Elves will exist any more, at least not in the current aesthetic, I think the Cthulu/Deep one Aelves coming out way are meant to be a shadowy almost swings both ways army, they're certainly dark anyway from what I understand, I'm expecting to see them at Adepticon next week with a release either later this year or at the beginning of next year. You'll have to forgive me but I've been out of the loop for a while
It's almost too much to handle.

Whoops, sorry. Here's an awesome arm shot I hadn't seen posted here yet from GW's facebook page (no repainted old dwarf kits in this picture):
The studio must have had fun setting this one up.

Makes more sense than being in a sea since they'd be restricted to one world.
March Madness is now Warhammer Madness. GET HYPE!

Deep Aelves would fit this mold perfectly, I think.

TGA Official Generals Handbook 2 feedback

I'm starting to think making shooting a tandem phase like combat is not such a terrible idea.
1) You can still shoot into and out of combat.
2) You still have the same total rounds of shooting available.
3) It lessens the impact of a shooting army catching a double turn.
4) All-melee armies have some benefit.
5) It makes you have some harder choices in target selection like with close combat.
6) It is relatively simple and in keeping with the spirit of the rules.
