Regarding new releases. Gw was closed for two months, but new 40k jumped the queue and was only a month late. The Stormcast and nighthaunt battletomes were released in August so the 40k codexes in October is back to being two months behind schedule. It looks like gw is going to take the 9 weeks between now and October to release the other models they previewed during the lock down. So that means underworlds, 2 Warcry warbands, Escher Necromunda, bloodbowl treeman and snotlings, Eomer for Lotr, Lumineth and of course Sons of Behemat. They will probably also release the easy to build 40k models in this window. The Lumineth novel goes on preorder September 5th so that looks like the date for the battletome.

That means we could see a new AOS preview in October.

    Aelfs in september

    My thoughts on Teclis:

    It's A Trap! | Know Your Meme

List looks alright. Only thing I might change would be Maybe switching out the Sentinels to 10's and then having 2 x 10 Wardens to go behind the Stoneguard as extra damage support, but I think that increases you to 8 drops.

Way is teclis a trap? Genuine question

I think, the closest thing to bretonia was the mentioning of a knightly order called "Sons of Breton" in @JReynolds Story Spear of Shadows. The question is, would it make sense to include a basicly historic faction as an additional human faction or would it make more sense if the Freeguild would have additional units, that Outriders, Pistoliers, Demigryph Knights and Freeguild General aren't the only cavalry units. Sadly GW removed the archers as well from the Freeguild with Cities of Sigmar.

Edit: And the compendium List is still playable and has points with the Generals Handbook 2020 in the legends section (it only lacks the lore)

You have the Order of the Fly which is Bretonia sprinkeld whit nurgel and despair.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a reference to Lumineth units that sounded like bolt-throwers in Wrath of the Everchosen when Archeon was closing in on Slannesh? Or was that just the archers? (I don't own the book, so I can't look it up.)

I like what they've shown of the new endless spells: one offensive, one defensive, and one utility.  I try never to judge the look or design of the models until I've seen them in front of me with my own 2 eyes. It can be surprising how a different paint scheme can turn an "ugly" model into something amazing.

For units we've got basic infantry, cavalry, ranged, elite infantry, monster cow/monster cow character, wizard hero, support hero, Eltharion, Teclis. Technically everything you need for a respectable army, plus some characters. That said, I'm cautiously optimistic that we haven't seen everything. The pool of generic heroes seems too small and limited, unless there's some alternate builds for the named characters that we haven't seen yet. Additionally, I feel like there would be some sort of mid-weight model  in the range (gothizzar harvester, akhelian allopex, celestar ballista), but we haven't seen anything like that either.

If I'm wrong and this is the entire line for the faction, so be it. Ironjawz have a very limited model pool and I freaking love them. Given what I've been able to glean about the Lumineth rules so far, I'm pretty sure I'm going to love them too.

    Ther you go
