That said the reliable rumours that hinted at Eldar and several other releases which have happened, haven't hinted at Skaven getting a major update.

I don't think aos has had many reliable rumors for years anywhere near the level of 40k. People don't want to lose their jobs for a tiny bit of clout

  2. via /TG/, i don't know if this was posted here yet. Concerning the FAQ.

Maggotkin for obvious reasons aren't in the update. Slaanesh is getting some key point drops. Tzeentch is seeing a small increase to horrors, and a significant drop to arcanists and magisters. Khorne is getting one of the biggest updates, in that blood tithe is getting reworked, with the biggest change being you don't blow your whole wad whenever you use any of said wad. Only STD update is Darkoath are now proper cultists. Skaven get nothing, but there's a very good reason for this.

I'm not sure where the "GW doesn't care about Skaven" meme started; they got terrain, endless spells, some new sculpts, and a new hero fairly recently. The rodents of unusual size are one of our oldest in-house IPs. Big plans for the rats. Skaven are a massive and diverse range... kind of like Eldar.

Dont get me wrong i loved the empire and the different elves and the dwarfs. I just feel like it has become a thing of the past. Even if they do more awesome sculpts like Galen and Doralia von Denst it wont save the old range for me in the AoS setting. I'll gladly buy a whole new human army. Its hard for me to buy into 20 year old models if i want to start with CoS compared to all the new models that look so much better.

This almost looks like LRL but it could be another Eldar thing.

The banshees do look kind of... dated on release yeah.
Lelith looks bad due to GW's bizarre style of painting faces as if they were carved from rock. Just look at this paintjob I found elsewhere that definitely isn't out of reach for most people.

Finished Lelith Hesperax, the Knife party enthusiast of the 40k universe. Wasn't expecting the model to be this tough to paint... : r/minipainting

    still looks pretty bad homie

This is all my theory/specualtion but I legit think they dont really do roadmpas because of investors. If investors knew the launch dates of things then their stock value would be everywhere. Theres also the case for investors dont liking unfulfilled promissed but as long as youre making enough money they dont really care. I think its mostly the first reason tho but thats just me.

larger companies with higher cash flow manage to give release dates far in advance and it does not make their stock go crazy

Like, it seems to be deliberate company policy to operate under much stricter secrecy for AOS over 40K, for whatever reason that might be.

Valarak said he knew about giants months before they were revealed so i think the major leakers just don't care to share the information

As do I - but I'm not familiar as to whether or not it was posted in relation to something specific? Normally when big companies post something like this (unfortunately) it's only in reponse to something.

some guy at a spanish tournament wore the white pride symbol, swastikas, and some arrow symbol i'm not familiar with to the tournament

Fyreslayers never have got any battleforce, dual army, reinforcement, skirmish, warcry etc etc ANY bundle ever never in his history( i think EVERY army in aos have got one at any moment) so maybe they deserve this battleforce and luckily this bring many new players and makes the faction more popular and so gw gonna release more units for them in the future.

Also vampires seems a great option for death as all the others death have got any bundle box allready

I'm pretty sure the reason they haven't gotten anything like that is that they have the worst liked aesthetic out of every army according to all polls I've seen on the subject by a wide margin. Even then they still got spells and terrain at least

What exactly are those legions of Nehekhara you are talking about? Because I don' t see those anywhere around in the mortal realms... And I guess if I did, the honorable and radiant armies of Hysh would kick their bony behinds, just like they did with the Bonereapers. 🌞

And how the hell did this turn into Aelf bashing once again?! 😅

all roads lead to rome - all warhammer conversations turn to bashing elves, as god intended

One thing Im glad about AoS is that althought GW seems to be trying to turn SCE into marines we still have to reach 40k levels of faction favoritism. Sure, some factions could use some more love and even a refresh on their range but Im cautiously optimistic GW learned their lesson and wont repeat it with AoS (fingers crossed)

sce have like 70 warscrolls in 6 years, I think we have reached the same level especially based on how popular they are

What they can win is the fight for hobbyists...but you don't do that with boxes where the pitch is "you can play a tiny game with this."

    Correct.

Why do you think each release is coming with a billion characters? It's not for gameplay reasons.

Okay, so far Necrons, Space Marines, Sisters of Battle, Dark Eldar and Orks all got expansions correct?

Dark eldar no unless you count the refresh on drazhar and incubi as expansions.

Tau admech are not likely to get a significant expansion.  Chaos space Marines are likely. I don't think psychic awakening indicates any sort of renewed focus for the army, same with broken realms.

We know Necrons got a huge release after Psychic Awakening, did any other armies that got support in that event get more releases? I feel like Dark Eldar and Adepta Sororitas did but I am not sure if Sisters of Battle count as their special Psychic Awakening character is even part of their army as I do not directly follow 40k and it is packed with an Eldar?

Both are sisters of battle characters.

Other armies in psychic awakening to get characters were orks, thousand sons, chaos space Marines, Marines, Tau, elves of course, and admech got a wave
