Those boxes look pretty cool, they don't appeal to me, although the vamp one is a bit tempting..
Vanguard boxes.. look like a good set but not wild on that price point, but I guess it will depend on the contents of each box.
For now keeping my pennies for new dwarfs/squats ..[I live in hope!😇]

I was thinking the other day- January should bring a new battletome with a decent model release due to the pattern of 40k releases. My thinking is the next 3 40k codex are all books + single model [thats up to Tau in January]. Three 40k books in a row is unlikely to be followed by another Codex straight away so AoS likely to get a release? 40k Chaos is likely early 2022 but I don't see it coming in January. Christmas/New Year reveals should be interesting! {no clue what is likely next}.

Scenic base- maybe a commemorative model or something for a new boxed game? The fingers look ork/urruk or maybe ghoul.
Edit: Maybe the Skaven Eshin underworlds war band ? [thats rumoured right?]

That was one day before the Slaughterguy reveal, not the most unbelievable of guesses but right off the bat not blatantly wrong like most "leaks" from that site.

Still hoping for something dwarf-y in 2022, squats or new Grungni Dwarfs.
I wonder if they intend to add more war bands to War Cry and are they going to stick to just chaos- it has more of a Necromunda type feel of gangs rather than Killteam at the moment.

Yeah I was briefly exciting thinking there might more than one pirate.. but alas no.
The Ogre Pirate is the pick of the bunch for me, I do like the GS Cult model as well.
Everything else is fine but not really my thing, pleased for others who got stuff they are thrilled by. Nice to see more Darkoath- love the old witch model.
I was thinking the Christmas model might be a gobbo and it is a bit of a relief as well as I was worried the dwarf/squat rumour engines might have just been a Christmas model so its nice to think 2022 might bring some proper dwarf goodness.

Yep me too! Would like to get a sense of when and what they will look like though.. Similarly I'm hoping for hints of new Dwarfs for AoS at some point [although I can't see them getting anything until next year at the earliest and I doubt they will appear tomorrow].

Have to say I really like that Kroxigor- would love to see a full plastic unit of them for AOS. The barbarian guy looks good, not my thing but very classic.

The Marine one could be the Custodes character that was rumoured. The middle one os definitely an ogre, the first one- big axe.. must be a dwarf..😇

I don't really have a massive problem with Lumineth getting another wave in a year or so- its good to see a faction getting filled out and evidently they have intended this from the start. I think I remember from my Warseer days Harry saying that High Elves were one of the best sellers so I presume their AoS cousins would do likewise. I can see Malerion and Tyrion coming close to each other as well- they seem to be connected somehow.
Saying that other factions need some love- personally I really want to see new dwarfs- ideally new KO and Grungni faction/classic dwarfs and others are obviously keen for Chaos dwarfs. Kurnothi as a sylvaneth expansion as well. Skaven, BoC, FEC all need new stuff Seraphon ... new Cities stuff. That said we don't have much clue as to what is coming in the next few moths beyond a chaos tome. Hoping next week with give a few clues, if not the New Year is a good bet for some hints/reveals.

I always think Underworlds are great for alternative sculpts for armies and nice to buy into if you don't want a full army but want something new to paint or try out. These are all probably alt sculpts/experiments which are part of the design process but don't, for whatever reason, make it into full releases- I think its great we can get our paws on them. I think 40k misses out by not having something similar.
The second box- I like it actually because for me the problem with starter sets is what of you don't like either faction? With new sets released across the year you can find one that suits you better. As long as the war bands don't get stuck in a box and come out separately I think its fine.

Well they do seem to like their boxed sets - seems similar to how they are doing KillTeam- gives more playing content I guess 🤷♂️.
Pirate ogor on the way by the looks of it. Sad those rumours excluded any dwarfs but you can't have everything. Eshin assassins would be cool an I'm guessing Order of Sigmar/Witchhunters as one [maybe the one after pirates].

Yeah I think she looks awesome but I'd prefer hair.. not a fan of bald vamps [of either sex!]
Looking forward to the big preview! Hope they show some cool new stuff. Beyond the remaining kits for Stormcast we don't have much of a clue what is coming so should be exciting!

So are we hoping for a new model Monday pic today? Maybe a teaser for Warcry or something from the next Underworlds war band for this season? I think those are the only things coming up before Christmas which are unknown at this stage [Templars are fully revealed as are the next Killteam models].
Maybe a surprise of some sort? [Hopefully someone short with a beard, armour and a big axe...]😇

Looks interesting- lots of mentions of dwarf holds everywhere, night and forest goblins mentioned and clearly a Tomb Kings icon at the bottom of the map [scarab and sunrays]. Good setting for a mixture of factions , although I do have concerns the focus seems to be mostly human factions so far- Kislev, Cathay, Empire, Brets and mostly the Boarder Princes..

I think its more to do with the with Dwarfs reuniting to reclaim their kingdoms, but the return of Grungni could push the Chorfs to be more active and aggressive, Belakors fluff mentioned him knowing that some would be interested in the return of their old foe.

Yeah that "rumour" leak doesn't add up as much as I'd like it to. New KO and more dwarfs-yes please [although I'd like them out of cities]. It all doesn't quite sit right- like two much info. The big 40k leak was the exception, generally big leaks are bobbins..
Looking forward to the Advent rumour engines and the Christmas/new year reveals!
