Also not confident about Treelords staying in AoS, they are the other kit from WHFB with a non IP'd name.
There are new Dryad sculpts in the Sylvaneth Warcry warband that isn’t even out yet.

I feel like I’m looking at a different grey seer to everyone else… I was never a massive fan even when it was new! I actually prefer the old metal sculpt which is generally pretty rare for me.

We’ll see, but reading it again the livestream they talk about definitely seems to be for the US Open as a whole, rather than specifically a new edition thing.

I dunno, I think we might see it before then. Revealing the new starter set for a new edition at 1am UK time on a Friday morning seems odd for a UK company who normally would reveal it in a UK event. I think it’s saying that’s a livestream of the US open event (like they do for some events), and the new edition stuff is also part of the US open and people can see the new models in person there. So I think we’ll get a proper preview of the new box sometime just before then.

Yeah that Liberator is excellent. I didn’t mind the helmet design anyway but it’s translated to the model really well. The silver scheme is definitely more to my taste than the original gold, and I really like the pose.

I saw a YouTube video that apparently the KT box has gone up $10 but the Warcry box hasn’t. Dunno the source though but we should have price lists tomorrow I guess (bank holiday today).

About time for Pyre and Flood. Trying to decide between that or the Kroot box which is pleasingly still fairly available.

Without knowing the specifics of how it’s going to work, I don’t like the idea of Endless Spells being free. Like faction scenery, they aren’t something that overly excite me, I don’t particularly want to pay for them and spend time building and painting them, but if they’re free I’m disadvantaging myself not taking them.

Not sure how I feel about that. I’d rather have more models than terrain personally, but I can see why having terrain is good for new players (I mean it’s good for me too, I don’t really have any terrain, I just find it hard to get excited about).

I don’t think people were expecting all the models shown, but at the same show last year they showed a model from each side of the starter box alongside the trailer. Im pretty disappointed we didn’t get that.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s TOW Dwarfs. The rumoured Votann Kill Team is Pioneers, like the bike guys but on foot, this is much more traditionally Dwarfy looking than I’d imagine them to be.

It’s not their own tome, it’s a supplement for Slaves to Darkness Ala the Ironjawz one recently.
