  1. Well, this transaltion someone did on reddit may help: Shadespire: The Mirrored City - Shadespire. Throughout the realm of death, this name is just a tremble on the lips of those foolish enough to utter it. Once upon a time, this city was a glittering metropolis whose tall towers and palaces of glass jutted out into the gloomy skies of the underworld. But today only empty ruins are left of her and her name brings disaster to anyone who says so. Because Shadespire is a place of damnation, a shadow in the wasteland, in which the howling of miserable souls echoes. The inhabitants of Shadespire are condemned to perpetuate this purgatory forever, as punishment for their crimes against the god of death. Their offenses weighed so heavily that Nagash's curse was of cruel and corrupted craftsmanship, for he turned everything that was once praised in the city into a twisted reflection. In the mist-shrouded streets lurks every kind of terror death holds, and darkness has spread in every heart. But there are still those who venture into the ruins. Former free-lance soldier Seguin Reynar goes to Shadespire to seek his fortune and he is not alone. As Sigmar's heroes seek their way through this confused nightmare, the hordes of chaos revel in its madness. But whether they follow the duty or the lure of ancient treasures, they all expect the same fate. This place is a hell of madness and monsters, and for those who enter it, there is no turning back. The Tainted Heart - Chamon is in agony. An enigmatic rot has seized the kingdom and withered the oases in its deserts under the touch of the plague god Nurgle. Where life once flourished, the land suffocates under pathological growths. The stench of decaying souls, torn by the illness imposed on them by Nurgle's will, wafts through the gleaming dunes, and the tentative tendrils of decay continue to reach out. The plague is met by Talorcan and Esselt, two witch hunters of the Order of Azyr. The serious, thoughtful Talorcan is as famous within the Brotherhood as a tracker as the merciless sword arm of his beloved Esselt. On the bloody trail of a cultist, the witch hunters encounter a massacre, after which they no longer have mercy in the fight against the disease that captures their home kingdom - until they have to face their greatest challenge. In the face of the unthinkable, the fight quickly becomes the test of their faith, and Talorcan and Esselt can only rely on one thing: each other. Scourge of Fate - Archaon, the Eternally Chosen One, is the most powerful and dreaded warrior of the Dark Gods. Even warlords of unbelievable cruelty, who have already led countless campaigns full of suffering and massacres, want to fight at his side. These Knights of Corruption are known as the Varangarde. Although the blood of conquered lands drips from the Blade of Atavar the Black Pilgrim, he must first prove worthy to ascend into the Fifth Circle of the Varangarde. Now he has his final task: to hunt down and kill a legendary hero of the forces of order, as a prophecy states that he is to liberate the mortal realms from the stranglehold of chaos. But when a betrayal occurs in the heart of the Varant Tower, Archaon's huge fortress, Atavar realizes that the chosen one of Sigmar is not the only threat to Archaon's reign that he must eliminate. For Atavar, there will only be victory or total annihilation. He is a warrior of the Varangarde and no enemy of the Three Eyed King will escape his sword.
  2. It comes in december, and in february of next year Mcniven will publish his varanguard novel "scourge of fate"
  3. Esselt and Talorcan are here to chew gum and kick butt! And Esselt just finished all the gum.
  4. By the way, found this in the site of "Cargad": https://www.cargad.com/index.php/2018/04/09/juego-sombraguja-shadespire-nuevas-pyr-y-biblioteca-de-cartas-actualizada/ Translation and editing: Shadespire is fixing a few lines of AoS' future development. In fact, the storm mages were first designed for shadespire. The next batch of warbands will change the landscape quite a lot. Specially the storm mages, more than the spectres, due to the range of their attacks. They will be released just after the supplement for magic meant for AOS that will release in june. Within it will appear new units (elementals, storm mages, and the new arch-prophet of gorkamorka) as well as a remodelling of the magic as it is in the vanilla game. It will be a softcover manual. 168 pages long. Take it with a massive handful of salt.
  5. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/04/08/who-are-the-idoneth-deepkin/ The idoneth are here. BOW TO THEM! Also, this is piece of art is Bee-yu-tiful!
  6. I think it's because the story will be tomorrow's digital monday. Just an error of the system that lets us see it a tad before time.
  7. The key to capitalism is to make you desire things you never knew you wanted up until that point.
  8. Someone posted this on dakkadakka: News about Idonteh Deepkin Rumours, take with a grain of salt.... "he deepkin are not exactly the good guys in fact they are not exactly order per-se, they play more like the dark eldar, and their main reason for fighting is to capture the souls of others in other words they raid to steal souls to feel and have emotions but can't retain it for long. Think mermaids but not the disney version but the historical one. The deepkin can fight on land as if they are still in water, in fact the models looks as if they are still swimming, this is because when they raid the area has a spell casted on it that allows them to fight normally, The models hair for example looks like its still floating in water best example of the effect is like the latest pirates of the caribbean movie where salazar mates if you notice their hair is somewhat as if submerge and floating underwater. The looks are somewhat mix greek and bit dark in nature. Their mounts for the calvary like models are on shark looking things. There is a turtle too which is its center piece model. There is about 8 kits all together which will take up the whole month leading up to AOS 2. "
  9. https://war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/bloggings/2746#disqus_thread The guy (temouloun) that told us about Custodes and TS in november and about DoK has spoken: This is an actual piece of scenery GW is going to sell, and that will have its own rules like the Sylvaneth Wyldwood. It's part of the entire Sea Aelves new range, which are absolutely stunning visually, will have tons of sea creatures to ride, one of which is MASSIVE, and unique high cost heroes with crazy design. Also forget about the Cthullu look, their design is closer to bad-ass Atlantean Spartans.
  10. Just wait until part 4. Maybe. Then again, Gotrek's lasted about... what, 10 or 20 novels?
  11. Fabled hero of the Warhammer Old World, Gotrek Gurnisson is reborn and cast into the Age of Sigmar for a brand-new, feature-length audio adventure. Gotrek Gurnisson was the greatest monster slayer of the age, who met his doom at the End Times. The heroic duardin stepped forth into the Realm of Chaos to fight the daemons gnawing at the world's ending and satisfy his death oath, leaving behind his companion Felix Jaeger. Now Gotrek has returned, having outlived the old gods and the Old World. Spat from the ruinous depths with his redemption unfulfilled, he emerges into the Mortal Realms, a strange new world where gods walk the earth and dark forces are ascendant. Nothing is as he remembers. His oaths are dust, and the lands are torn asunder by Chaos. Yet when Gotrek learns of human champions being elevated to immortality for Sigmar’s fight against this darkness, the so-called 'Stormcast Eternals', he knows why fate has brought him into this new age. To find Felix. For only then can he find the peace in death he seeks. But is there more to Gotrek's apotheosis than even he can fathom? Has he truly been chosen by Grimnir and for what purpose? This audio drama boxed set contains a four-part story read by a stellar cast, recounting the much anticipated return of Gotrek Gurnisson. You've gotta hand it to Gotrek, not even the end of the world can finish him properly. He's back. And he's looking for his bro and to kick butt. And his bro is nowhere to be seen now. 12. >The living, too, populate Shyish, coexisting with the dead. The greatest concentration of mortals can be found in the so-called Prime Innerlands, the center mass of Shyish, far from the deadly edge of the realmsphere, where amethyst magic gathers in such quantity that to venture there would spell the death of any living thing. Here, they forge an existence from the harsh wilderness of Shyish. In these realms, tradition is sacred above all, and the honoured dead walk among the living. A princess might seek counsel from the spirit of her long-deceased mother, or a band of deathless warrior might keep an eternal watch upon the city wall, having sworn an oath to protect the living. >Sometimes, the relationship between living and dead is one of mutual codependency. Other times it is fraught with strife and horror. The tomb-city of Gharnost is a gloom-shrouded metropolis ruled over by skeletal lords, where the living are enslaved, forced to build ever more elaborate and grander mausoleums for their pitiless overlords. The mortal populace – weary, ragged creatures bereft of hope – dread the grinding rattle that heralds the approach of the Corpse Carts. These reeking wagons halt outside the hovels of the living, and the unfortunate residents are dragged out by skeletal watchmen and butchered, their corpses hurled into the grim conveyance to later as mindless warriors of the lords of Gharnost. >It's countless underworlds are astonishing in their splendour and variety. Athansia is a land of peace and enlightenment, where souls fade and are reborn in a endless cycle. Hallout, the Land of Dead Heroes, echos to the laughter and chanting of warrior tribes, battling side by side against hordes of monstrous fiends. These heroes die and are cremated each night, only to rise from the ashes the next morning to join their brothers and sisters in battle once more. The Latchkey Isle, by contrast, is a labyrinthine paradise filled with gleaming treasures locked behind impassable doors, watched over by solemn guard beasts and wicked traps. Here, the spirits of the foremost thieves in all the realms gather to challenge themselves with the greatest heists they have ever known, each more taxing and thrilling then the last. We've got budhists, vallhalla and d&d heaven.
  13. I think it means it's coming out at the very beginning of this month and it's a fairly short release window. Me thinks.
  14. Nah, that's a pet octopus of a stormcast knight model, the Knight Tentakulos.
  15. Yeah... no it isn't really. A bit of a misnomer but it's been a long time this has morphed more into the "news and rumours" thread, and we were talking about on news so by the power of my ruleslawiery I declare: we good!" On second thought, @Gaz Taylor, mayhaps a new thread could be in order? You know, new year, new life. In theory we will get a few juicy tidbids at Adepticon so that would be a good moment.

  17. Why two weeks for TS? They literally have all the models available already. My bet is that in any case they may end up doing the same they've done for DoC and Maggotkin: release them within the same week (alongside something else).
  18. Yeah, temulun or whatever he's called is pretty insistent on it. At this point I'm kind of inclined to belive in it. Too much sunken cost for so little pay-off.
  19. I do recall that GA:O had the "Exiled" factions be groups that hailed from both Shyish and Ulgu. I COULD be wrong, though. EDIT: the darkling covens are made from sorceress queens and their coteries that hail both from Shyish and Ulgu, indeed.
  20. Inferno! magazine is coming back again, on thursday they will interview the editor of submissions regarding tips on what they want.
  21. Well, we are mon'keigh... do you have a nephew or niece?
