Rumours of Tau Vespids getting some new models so it could be that.

I'm surprised GW hadn't put the stag crest in a rumour engine to Kurnothi-taunt us!
I was thinking exactly the same thing! Glad they didn't I don't think I can take more disappointment. I thought the troll king antlers were going to be something kurnothi. Maybe we get another rumour engine tomorrow.

So 2+ tough on YouTube is doing a series of daily videos going through the narrative of book 2 if you want to know what's happening. Worth a listen.

So book 3 I'm expecting Sylvaneth, Khorne and skaven. I do agree that the dawnbringer series is setting up Ushoran and FEC as the big bad guy so expect that for book 4 and the subsequent FEC battletome.

What do we expect tomorrow for the pre orders? Maybe the CoS vs Ogors Warcry box due to the instagram picture?
GW like to alternate between 40k and aos releases so maybe space marines preorder?

Spoiler
Interested to see if the scyla model is removed from the GW site to make way for a new one. It does add more credence that the khorne siege of hammerhall will play a big role in book 3 and so expect some khorne models to be released.
There was a double page spread in the book about the sylvaneth fighing back with a picture of drycha there as well. I'm expecting book 3 to cover them in more detail and hopefully kurnothi. If this leads to a storyline involving the return of kurnoth then I will be ecstatic!

Sooo did they tease Kurnothi
So the review by @Sprues&Brewsmentions that sylvaneth play a role in the book and also some speculation about what factions will appear in book 3. Any chance of some detailed info re sylvaneth from book 2 in spoiler format?

I absolutely adored that story. You truly feel sorry for Trugg the poor bloke just wants to sleep and his pounding migraine wont let him. A tragic character for Destruction.
Meanwhile we are definitely seeing Skaven being set up as the big bad for 4.0. What are they building on the Nexus Sites!?
Something that's going to help them break into Azyr.

Part of me is sceptical about getting more Fyreslayers (sans the Warcry team) before 4.0 by virtue of the Grimhold Exile being in Book 1, but then I remembered Trugg is technically a Gloomspite model and they already got the Rabble-rowza in Book 1, so I guess anything's possible.
Considering one of the Crusades is in Aqshy there's as good an excuse to add them now as ever.
Yes makes sense if there is a crusade in Aqshy then fyreslayers would be involved heavily just like a crusade in ghyran would bring in the Sylvaneth/Kurnothi. Both would be good narrative reasons to release new models.

To be fair I expected Blacktalon models with Dawnbringer 2 but it seems we still didnt get them. So what do you think how will they release them and when 😂
Maybe in October as part of the warhammer 40th anniversary celebrations. I can see multiple celebration releases then including old world.

So a great looking fyreslayers warband. Tbh I was expecting the next warband to be sylvaneth/Kurnothi so this was a little surprise. So could be that the order v death warband is sylvaneth v OBR? Either way that won't be until a winter release which will be next year.
So does this mean that the rumoured Kurnothi release is more then the warcry warband I suppose we won't know until we start getting some hints about book 3.

Also might be a set up for a certain God of the hunt to come out of hiding to pursue the interlopers.
I hope so!
Although it does remind me of some text on the warhammer community page when they announced the broken realms books and specifically they mentioned alarielle going into a rage and turning on allies and enemies alike. We never saw this happen in the broken realms series and I still think there was an alarielle book due to come out to show all this happening but because of covid they decided not to bother.
It was also strange that they went straight into the ritual of life by alarielle at the beginning of the final book without any explanation or reasoning previously which also makes me think that there was something planned book wise but cancelled. Maybe we might see some version of this storyline in the dawnbringers books?

From the latest episode of Loremasters re the coin malleus.
"Even some supposed allies are disturbed by the presence of so many Sigmarites, such as the groves of the most bitter hearted and isolationist of the sylvaneth who may respond aggressively to hordes of mortals cutting down forests for fuel and timber on their way through."
Maybe a hint as to why if it is the ghyran crusade that fails.

So the Kurnothi rumours have been hinted at by whitefang. I did ask about a kurnoth model and got a laugh emoji from whitefang which I found out later was not a negative response.
Personally I feel that a warcry warband is on the way in the same way as the cities hunters. The loremasters video which mentioned ogres and sylvaneth in the gnarlwood has revealed the ogor gorgers as a warband and with one order warband to be revealed I think it's kurnothi.
The narrative to dawnbringers makes sense that if a crusade goes into ghyran and causes orruks and the troll king to rise then there will be other ramifications and the sylvaneth/Kurnothi will have to play an important role in this.
Speculation wise would love to see the following kits.
Kurnoth reborn in all his majestic glory.
Kurnothi tracker/hunters reminiscent of the old wood elf waywatchers.
Kurnothi fighters like the old wood elf wardancers
Centaur cavalry like wild riders.

So with the preview up today. When can we expect to order?
They said marines in a few weeks and I think ironjawz will be mid to late September

What did they say? Anything about Kurnothi? Because of work I wasn’t able to watch it yet.
Just that the trogg king had been asleep for so long people built a portal on top of him and cave paintings drawn on him because nobody knew that it was the trogg king.

A hero for the Dawnbringer book and a warcry warband is my bet right now
Hope its more, if the ancient trogg King is awoken in ghyran who knows what else can return???

Some great models there for destruction fans. Nice to see that the ironjawz rules will be released as a free downloadble document which could also be good news for future faction releases (looking at you Kurnothi)
Speaking of Kurnothi, was a little surprised to see the ogors and cities paired together was expecting sylvaneth/Kurnothi. As there is one more order warband to be revealed does this mean they will be a separate release or paired with krullboyz warband?
All this means that we could be looking at Kurnothi for book 3, maybe a couple of kits to be revealed together. I hope so.

Yes, he's done loads including broken realms. He's completed the Aqshy part of the book and started the ghyran side today which is the one I'm most looking forward to.
