Thanks FW my 2 handead weapon bull centaurs are ****** now, dont hawe any plans buing new ones.

problem was that this was an army list option in the original throne of chaos Legion list.  They shelved it as there are no models with that option, and obviously we're not going to see any now.  then again,  there's no skullcracker anymore or siege giant but that hasn't stopped them from putting it in the  compendium update...

Nice to get a placable clear rumor engine.

Why not both? Could be on a deamon unit, (like the KoS) after all. Even if it is 40k, that is a great bit for AoS Slaanesh conversions ^^.

What I really like about this rumor engine is that it tells us what the entire design direction of Slaanesh weapons will look like, which is something I have been wondering. It is a nice one, to boot, a bit of Aelf/Aeldari/Drukari, but more Chaos.

I am afraid you are a bit late for the party.

    sorry - just realised.

In light of the recent reveal of the named character for Nighthaunt, as well as the tease of another two named characters for the same faction, I started thinking that they would do something similar with the Stormcast new line of models. Do you think maybe we will get some big named center piece characters for the Sacrosanct Chamber as well? And if so, what do you guys think / hope they would be?

well you've got  one already in the form of the knight validor harbinger from malign portents, so I'm sure there are more to follow.  The harbingers have been new faction characters hidden in plain sight, so life's looking good for grots and slaves to darkness given what we've already seen.

  4. like I said above, we got one more week of imperial knights to go as the the special character knight is a ,model in his own right, and coming out next week.

    Then you'll have your pre-orders, so 16th for pre-orders and 23rd availability.

There's going to be a big fat box just like 40k with the rulebook in it as well as toys, and also the ghb 2018 will probably be there as well.

Nighthaunts  battletome won't be out on release weekend, they want to give you a little time to digest the contents. :)

oh and very interesting background twist to the nighthaunts hence not part of the legion of nagash book when that dropped. ;)

  5. we've got 2 weeks of imperial knight releases and then it's the big wallet emptying :)

I'm looking to 40k launch as an indicator of the price point and the box contents with the big rulebook.

I'm also looking forward to the Slaves to Darkness battletome.. er.. if that were ever a thing,  - given that the harbingers have been heralds for new factions hidden in plain sight :)

This would be cool, but I would fancy some new humans. Preferably ones that aren't solely reliant on black powder weaponry..

brets it is then boyo... with a nice splash of narnia fantasical beasts and druids to boot :)

It's strange, some of the SCE kits (mainly 3 bowgun dudes, the artillery piece and the lady on the lion drake) have scenic bases.

    Also four of the Banshee.

    Think about it ;)

new shadespire war bands hidden in plain sight :)

    Does seem that way.

I'm surprised at GW pushing ahead with Darkoath in their bid to desperately copyright everything. Fantasy Barbarians, whilst a bit more niche than Medieval Knights and Standard Fantasy Dwarf, aren't exactly uncommon. I'm sure they'll put a spin on it (Skin Wolves?), but it's unexpected. That being said, I'm more excited for them than I would be Chaos Fantasy Marines.

Moonclan should be great and would line up with the squig-looking mouth from the rumour.

yes but their fantasy barbarians will be Darkoath and their leader will have boobplates and a northern accent :)

Also worth considering that if we can now use multiple command abilities, would cheaper but more plentiful heroes might be  more useful than big point sink heroes?

I hope they do it, and yes that would make perfect sense for the giants, skin wolves mammoths, warshrines and all of that other never quite was part of a chaos gods chosen portfolio of stuff.

I see them almost like they were in the old world, not worshipers of chaos as such in the same sense as bloodbound or warriors of chaos but people who live under its skies - the same as the humans who fought along side the undead in the Shyish  against the nurgle incursions.

I'm biased of course as it's pretty much the army I run with my slaves to darkness, marauders, mammoths, curs'd ettin warshrine, and horsemen.  Maybe they will become what models are left from the slaves to darkness if they don't become part of the everchosen, or maybe thats the separation - armoured slaves become everchosen, and nekkid slaves become darkoath. who knows!

  9. Now here's a thing...

When reading about about the new Warhammer Heroes collectible card game on the community site they mention this:

The game will be a digital and physical hybrid – all your real world cards can be scanned for use in the online version

i really hope they carry this through and make it work for battletomes and other literature in the future.

Imagine buying the hard copy and then scanning the barcode and releasing the digital copy.  That copy would then be tied to your apple id or android equivalent to stop people buying an old copy off the bay from taking advantage - a thank you for buying a new copy if you will.

I have to say paying twice for stuff I like just so I can unlock scrolls and battleplans etc in azyr app gets a bit stale after a while, to the point where I'll buy physical and digital GHB and that's it now.

Oh gosh, please please ask if there is any plans on Chaos Dwarfs while you are there my friend!

I'm not there, but a chap from the heresy forums is..

So i've asked him the same questions.

The dragon is mahoosive. Larger than the smaug model they did, and that''s been haf of the delay- engineering it so it actually could take its own weight - probably on the wings by the look of it.

I saw someone mention that Forgeworld were going to be redoing all of their rules for AoS but they didn't provide a source. Anyone know if there's any validity to this claim?

the forgeworld seminar is currently going on as far as I know, hopefully Garro or someone else will post up news.

I repeat my question: do you think the new cavalry could be new hexwraiths that could be Legion of Nagash retro-compatible?

Same with the new banshees (that could be the new Shadespire warband even if I am surprised not to see the hooded ghost from the Shadespire card preview).

more than likely yes, and im sure you'll see the hooded ghost in due course.
